A very useful and interesting setup. "Hygiene" is already in service with our army, which is the reason for the story about this station.

SKO-10 is produced by the Krasnodar plant "Polimerfilter". The difference between SKO-10/5 and SKO-10 is the presence of a water desalination unit.

The station can take water anywhere. River, lake, pond, puddle, swamp, sea, ocean. Absolutely no difference, the main thing is that the liquid corresponds to the formula, where two hydrogen atoms are combined with one oxygen atom. The rest is already aspects.

Hardly anyone would dare to drink such water as in an inflatable tank. Well, if only the thirst completely finishes, isn't it? But after passing through the cleaning systems - quite. We tried it, it tastes no different from ordinary filter water.

"Hygiene" purifies water from mechanical particles, suspensions, colloidal compounds, ferric iron, neutralizes from anthropogenic substances and poisons of organic origin, including chemical warfare agents, deactivates from radionuclides, including products of a nuclear explosion, disinfects from bacteria and viruses, including pathogenic and bacterial means of mass destruction.

Primary filters and a battery of reverse osmosis filters.

All processes are fully automated. Moreover, the number of sensors and analyzers allows the calculation not to approach the water at all in case of something. All analyzes and samples can be carried out remotely.

But there is another highlight inside the body. This is a line for the production of containers and packaging of water.

Green washers in the conveyor belt are blanks for plastic flasks. A small thermoplastic machine melts the flasks, then water is poured into them, clogged, additionally processed with ultraviolet light - and on the way out!

SKO-10 can produce 900 of these flasks per hour.

SKO-10/5 performed very well in Crimea in the summer of 2016, when there were problems with water.

There is also a portable version of SKO-10, created within the framework of the "Hygiene" project. It is called PVU-600.

PVU-600 cannot desalinate water and pack it. But the weight of only 185 kg makes this unit very mobile indeed. As the name implies, PVU-600 can produce 600 liters of water per hour. The resource of work before the replacement of consumables is 100 hours. The full resource of the installation is 600 hours.

Useful stuff, isn't it? Without water, really nowhere.
