Police weapons. The previous material about the layout of a fundamentally new submachine gun for the police of the XXI century, we ended with a description of the cartridge, which is a block of barrels with four charges for each barrel. Eight barrels - 32 shots. That is, a very decent ammunition. But do not forget that we have in the kit there are four additional mounting assemblies for two more of the same cartridges. We attach them to the main mounting unit and thus we can install as many as three cartridges on our submachine gun, that is, its total ammunition now amounts to 96 shots, which is more than any modern submachine gun has.

But that's not all. The fact is that the first two mounts are connected to the main mount horizontally. But the two back ones are vertical. And the two front ones have worm gears in four positions - 50, 100, 150 and 200 m. Turning the left and right toggle switches on the side mounting nodes, you can slide the cartridges located on the sides so that they will be aimed in the same place as the main one. central cartridge. That is, our submachine gun does not need a cut-off mode of fire, say, three shots. When you press the trigger, depending on the fire mode selected on the display, you get three shots simultaneously from three cartridges at the same time, six shots or nine. And accordingly, 3, 6 or 9 bullets fly at your target at the same time! In one shot! Or you spray the enemy with continuous fire from all three barrels with a total rate of fire of 3000 rounds per minute. But you may not bring all three trunks to the same distance, but leave them fixed in parallel. And then you got as many as three scattering ellipses overlapping each other in the range from 0 to 200 m. That is, it turns out that you will have a real "death scythe" in your hands!

But the police officer does not have to insert all three cartridge cartridges. In one of the mounts, he can insert a cartridge with a tear gas grenade, and in the other - with seven plastic or rubber bullets. Again, all this will be reflected on the display. And the electronic unit will be configured so that it will always shoot non-lethal ammunition in the first place, and lethal ammunition last. The grenades with which he fires, as already noted here, can be in disposable and completely ready-to-use cartridges. But it is also possible that the pipe for firing grenades may not be plastic, but metal. Then it turns out like this: "pipe" separately, and grenades (several pieces separately) and to them four propelling charges with microchips inside. I put in all four - a shot is fired at 200 m. I put in three - 150, two - 100 and, finally, one - a shot distance of 50 m. Such variability is convenient, since it allows you to effectively act on various targets.

Moreover, the range of ammunition for the grenade launcher installed on this submachine gun can be extremely large. As already noted here, it can be gas grenades (for example, with service equipment CR, CS, CN), fragmentation grenades, stuffed with steel balls 5 mm in diameter, thermobaric, high-explosive, in a plastic case with a pressed-in explosive, having minimal fragmentation, but very strong high-explosive and noise impact, and smoke, stuffed with white phosphorus. The presence of the cartridge allows the use of fully equipped cartridge-cylinders filled with liquid damaging substances of illegal action such as ASD, which is safe for humans (and in general, strictly speaking, it is a medicine), but has such a specific smell that few people can tolerate it, especially in large doses. That is, inside the cylinder there is a piston, a powder charge and a microchip. At the signal from the control unit, it ignites the powder charge, the piston squeezes out the liquid and an ASD jet flies out at a distance of about 25 meters. Likewise, cylinders can be filled with leave-in paint, pepper oil tincture and thickened gasoline mixed with white phosphorus, which allows this submachine gun to also be used as a flamethrower! Moreover, a bullet cartridge, a cartridge with one of the grenades, or, say, the same flamethrower, can be attached to it at the same time.

Of course, three cartridges on one frame also means a significantly greater weight of the weapon. It can be assumed that an ordinary bullet cartridge will weigh no more than one and a half kilograms. And this is the maximum, but in reality it is even less. But let's take just the maximum. By the way, the body of the submachine gun itself, along with batteries and a tactical flashlight, can weigh the same, although the latter is removed and is not needed during the day. Thus, the total weight is 3 kg. With three cartridges, it can grow up to 5–6 kg in this way. However, attaching all three cartridges to a submachine gun, and even with a bayonet, makes sense only in the most extreme circumstances. And they do not appear often.

Another notable drawback of this submachine gun is that it cannot be used to fire through the embrasures of combat vehicles. However, experience shows that police usually do not shoot through them. Moreover, they are not even provided for today on many police armored vehicles. Fire is conducted through open hatches, or using a machine-gun turret. The crew of the car in this case usually controls the upper hemisphere and monitors the upper floors of buildings, past which a police armored car passes.

At first glance, high-positioned sights also cause inconvenience when shooting while prone. However, in reality it only seems so. The fact is that the shooter still has to raise the upper part of the body if he shoots from an assault rifle or submachine gun with a lower magazine (which is the majority of them today!), And in this case, the high-positioned sight does not at all affect its increase, so to speak, visible projection. And besides, it is the police who rarely have to fire lying down, this is still more the prerogative of the soldiers of the army units, who often have to fight "in nature", while the battle in the urban environment has its own specifics!

In this case, the ergonomics of the weapon is of greater importance, allowing for a variety of grips associated with the features of the length of the arms and also the mobility of various joints. Someone will be comfortable with one grip, someone else. In this case, diversity is very important, as it makes it easier for a person to successfully "apply" to a weapon.

Now let's imagine a hypothetical situation of police actions with such submachine guns against anti-constitutional elements on the streets of a hypothetical city. A signal arrives: masses of demonstrators are trying to break through to government buildings, mobilized (this is shown by drones with cameras on board monitoring the situation) by specially trained "instigators". It becomes obvious that one of the “color revolution” scenarios is being realized.

Police block the street with shields, while a second echelon armed with non-lethal cartridge submachine guns fire gas grenades at the protesters. Does not help! Using prepared gas masks, illegal elements are trying to break through the police cordon. In response, a command is received to install additional cartridges on the weapon and open fire with non-lethal plastic bullets, as well as use cartridges with indelible paint and ADS liquid.

In response, the illegal elements activate the forceful impact. Railroad nuts with tied cloth tails, homemade grenades from Pepsi and beer cans, bottles with Molotov cocktails, darts from sharpened iron bars fly at the police. Then shots are heard, including from automatic weapons. From the side of the protesters, detachments of trained militants come into play. There is a danger of breaking through the police cordons. Shop windows are smashed, cars are overturned and set on fire. Weapon shops were seized, and massive fire was opened on law enforcement officers.

There is a threat of direct rebellion and destruction of the constitutional order. Under these conditions, the only possible decision is made: to respond to fire with fire. An order is received: "Join the bayonets, install combat cartridges!" The police open heavy fire at the feet of the attackers and go over to the attack. Shots of snipers sound from the windows of the houses, but they are suppressed by massive fire and firing at the windows with high-explosive grenades.

The police enter the anarchic neighborhoods. There is a barricade ahead. It is set on fire with incendiary grenades and destroyed with high-explosive grenades. Fragmentation grenades are fired at the firing points of illegal elements. In hand-to-hand combat with the enemy, the police actively use bayonets and brass knuckles. As a result, the resistance of the insurgents was completely suppressed. And only one type of weapon was used!
