The wheelbase of the armored vehicle, made in 4x4 format, carries an armored body (with a V-shaped bottom), capable of protecting against mine explosions and ambush attacks. The level of protection according to NATO regulations has not been announced, but Burraq is known to be equipped with armor that protects against a 12.7mm bullet fired from a distance of 200 meters.

The total weight of the armored vehicle is 10 tons. Burraq has two compartments: the driver and commander sit in the cockpit, and ten armored seats are installed in the landing corps, providing additional protection to the military. The landing can take place in three ways - through the back door or through two doors on the left and right side.

Burraq is equipped with a 150 hp Isuzu NPS-75 diesel unit. and a five-speed gearbox, which can be manual or automatic at the customer's choice. The suspension of the combat vehicle consists of hydraulic shock absorbers and leaf springs.

Additional Burraq equipment includes:

• built-in air conditioner, • two rotating floodlights on the roof, • rear camera.

The armored vehicle also carries specialized combat installations. This is a 12, 7-mm turret machine gun equipped with a remote control, as well as an electronic anti-explosive system.

International Defense Review magazine reports that five experimental models are currently being tested.
