The euphoria of the first report continues. This is understandable. Participants and spectators calmed down. They began to do their work not only with high quality, but as best they can. The way it was shown at the qualifying competitions. This is how the best of the best in their armies should do this job.
I confess that it has become more difficult to work in such conditions. Not because there are any restrictions for our work. Vice versa. Everyone is accustomed to our brethren. We stopped tense. Everyone is doing their job.
It has become more difficult to work because it is very difficult to keep a "cool" head when you see the well-coordinated work of the crews, the high-quality and efficient work of the judges and their assistants. I don't want to leave the stage. I would like to see how the opponents will do the same. Even imperturbable Chinese reporters screamed like boys when the huge REM KLs "entered" the water with a trailer shaped like a huge Ural.
And what are the hugs of the crew commander of our REMka after the finish with his car? Competitions!
The apotheosis of any team competition has always been and will always be the team race. A race where the work of each of the crews can be worth a victory for everyone. Where one for all and all for one!
The piquancy of the situation was also added by the fact that before the last race the advantage of the Russian national team was scanty. After winning the individual races, the Russian national team was unable to win in the shooting and sports program. The soldiers from the Celestial Empire showed excellent sports and shooting training.
True, in sports, in the individual standings, the Chinese also lost. They were conceded to the cadets of the Omsk Armored Vehicle School. 1st and 3rd place in the individual competition was taken by Omsk. But the team played out of competition. Therefore, we lost the team championship.
The team relay included several stages in which all vehicles were involved. Both wheeled and tracked. The first to go into the "battle" were armored maintenance vehicles (ARVs), then maintenance workshops and recovery vehicles.
Moreover, during the competition, MTO fell under a massive "attack" by paratroopers from 242 training centers of the Airborne Forces and were "blown up" by mines set by "saboteurs". So REMs pulled them from the battlefield under the "explosions" of shells and mines along the most difficult route. Not only difficult in relief, but also passing through a decent size "river".
The complexity of the track is evidenced, for example, by the fact that one of the cars of the Kazakh team "refused" to work at the most crucial moment. The organizers even had to re-run for this team by the decision of the panel of judges. And the "Ural", which was "pulled" by the cadets of the auto-armored institute, on one of the obstacles simply broke away from the SEM. But, as it turned out, the situation was normal and the crew returned to the status quo quickly enough.
At the end of the competition, the participants arranged something like a ceremonial passage.
All good things, no matter how much we want it, ends. Including the first ever competition in the framework of ARMY-2016 "Rembat". They were waiting for this day. This day gave hope for victory. This is the day when you can relax. The day when you can take stock.
And the results of the competition are as follows.
The first team place was won by the Russian team by a large margin. In certain events, the winners were from different teams. The individual races were won by teams from Russia and China. Sports competition - cadets of the Omsk Automotive and Armored Institute and China, shooting competitions, soldiers of the Celestial Empire and cadets, the team relay - the Russian national team.
1st place - the Russian national team.
2nd place - the national team of the People's Republic of China.
3rd place - the national team of Kazakhstan.
The organizers did not skimp on prizes either. All participants of the competition were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. Considering that there were only three teams - and medals. And the winners received additional valuable gifts. The champion in sports, for example, received an extra luxury bike. And the sniper is a good rifle.

But the main individual prize for the best repairman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be presented personally by the Minister of Defense in Moscow. And the prize is really valuable - "Lada Granta". So the senior sergeant will now roll out on a new car.
The main result of the games was, it seems to me, not so much the victory of our soldiers as the activation of the entire repair service in the army. Qualifying competitions, preparation of auto and tank courses, training of fighters - all this will remain for the entire period of service of the soldiers. And the officers recalled many skills that are not often used in everyday service.
The head of the institute, in particular, in his speech directly expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the government of the Omsk region, the governor and sponsors for their help in creating the necessary material and technical base. And this, first of all, will serve to improve the training of cadets. Better training of personnel.
In general, the impressions from the past games are the most wonderful. Good deal. Both for the army and for the Omsk people. There was not a day when the stands were empty. Even on the day of the city's 300th anniversary! We will wait for the next games.
