At the first military-technical forum "Army-2015", which took place this summer, many different robotic equipment were presented. However, a prominent place among the demonstrated samples was occupied by the URAN-6 multifunctional robotic complex. Made on a tracked platform, it weighs more than 6 tons.
The machine is designed for making passages in mine-explosive obstacles and area demining of territories.

The remote control system with a portable console provides control in open areas at a distance of up to 800 m. Uran-6 can be equipped with striker, milling and segmented roller trawls, as well as a dozer blade and a blade with a rotary grip.
As the creators of the complex emphasize, when cleaning the area from explosive objects, direct contact of sappers with ammunition during the work on their detection and preparation for destruction is excluded.
