In the CIS countries there are many museums and memorial complexes that need restoration and will be glad to receive any help. To unite and coordinate people who are not indifferent to history and remember the heroic deeds of the people during the Great Patriotic War, the team of the Remember Everything global initiative has created a special platform called Let's Save History Together. It is located on the planeta.ru crowdfunding resource.
Our first project will be to raise funds for the restoration of the Lenino-Snegirevsky military history museum. This museum is located on the site of the most fierce battles on the outskirts of Moscow in the winter of 1941 - where the Red Army repelled the onslaught of Hitler's troops and then threw them back to the west.
In October 2014, the preparatory stage of work took place, during which an MC-1 tank, one 80-mm and two 120-mm mortars, as well as one 120-mm M-30 howitzer were installed near the central entrance to the Lenino-Snegirevsky Museum.
