On March 27, Russia celebrates the professional holiday of the troops of the National Guard (Rosgvardia). The structure of the department, created on the basis of the internal troops and special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), was finally approved by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 3, 2016.

More than 340 thousand people are serving in the National Guard. Of these, almost 160 thousand employees were taken from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Together with the people, the tasks of the units in which they served were transferred.

There are divisions of the National Guard in every region of the country: 84 territorial bodies are deployed in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The tasks of ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting their property as part of the department continue to be carried out by non-departmental security.

Every day, Rosgvardia fighters risk their lives participating in the fight against terrorism. According to the press service of the department, in 2016, under the general leadership of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, they destroyed 125 bandits, liquidated more than 300 of their camps, caches and shelters.

In 2016, the servicemen and employees of the Russian Guard ensured the safety of the preparation and holding of 15 events of a global and national scale, protection and anti-terrorist protection of important state facilities and special cargo was carried out.

WEAPON

In 2017, within the framework of the state defense order, the purchase of modern weapons, military and special equipment is planned.

According to Zolotov, the development of the latest models of equipment is also underway, which has no analogues in other power structures. Among them - a mobile combined complex of engineering and technical security means for equipping weapons and ammunition storage sites, new elements of mobile command posts and a special combat reconnaissance vehicle.

For special forces units, tests of the armored vehicle "Patrol" (created on the basis of the all-wheel drive KamAZ) are being completed.

PREPARATION

Officers for the National Guard are trained in the Novosibirsk, Perm, St. Petersburg and Saratov military institutes of the National Guard troops.

In addition, in 17 universities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, 20 institutes and schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, servicemen and employees can improve their professional qualifications in various programs.

Among the many different occupations, Rosgvardia military personnel are trained in diving, mountain and parachute training, take courses for aircraft controllers, artillery fire spotters, and control of unmanned aerial vehicles.

UNDERWATER SPECIALTY

The best combat swimmers of the Russian Guard are servicemen under the contract of the Vityaz special purpose center, combat veterans. More than half of them are eligible to wear a maroon beret.

So, on March 10, in the Moscow region at the Ameryevsky quarry, a training was held for special forces combat swimmers. Diving descents were carried out from the ice surface.

According to the legend of the exercises, the main task was to find a conditional object at the bottom of the reservoir. Search area - 10,000 sq. m. A special hole in the ice was cut. The special forces began to search using the "circle" method.

After the enemy's device was found, the divers indicated its location and an uninhabited remote-controlled underwater vehicle was launched. With the help of it, they established observation of the lighthouse. The divers moved away from the object to a safe distance in order to avoid injury in the event of an uncontrolled detonation.

To neutralize and preserve the radio beacon, specialists from the demining group were called to the site. The object was raised to the surface, neutralized and handed over to intelligence specialists.

AIR SPECIALTY

The best paratroopers of the Russian Guard also serve in the center of the Vityaz special forces. Many of them have earned the right to wear the maroon beret in the most difficult test, an exam at the limit of human capabilities.

So, on March 14, a parachute training session was held in the Moscow region, where each special forces soldier made five parachute jumps from a military transport helicopter Mi-8. It became a kind of finale of a multi-day training camp, in which each special forces soldier made at least 60 jumps.

First step

Landing from ultra-low heights - 200 m. This is a "special" exercise: it can be performed only by those who have at least 25 jumps. When performing it, the fighter's lines may twist, and he must get out of this difficult position with a practiced movement.

In addition, as Rosgvardia officers note, it is very important not to "enter the lines" of a comrade, that is, not to hook the next soldier in the chain with your parachute. If necessary, slip away from a collision, and in case of failure of the main parachute, open the reserve canopy.

As the spetsnaz officers note, all these actions are given only three seconds. This exercise trains the psychological stability of the commandos. So the fighters of the National Guard can quickly penetrate the enemy's object.

Second phase

Landing from a height of 3000 m. Parachute deployment delay - 40 sec. The soldiers have weapons, containers with special equipment, food and ammunition. The landing took place on an unequipped site - an ordinary forest clearing.

The fighters used a special STAYER parachute system. The wing parachute is used only by the elite special forces of Russia. This system is designed for landing from heights of 400-8000 m at speeds up to 255 km / h (with immediate commissioning) and up to 350 km / h (with a delay in deployment of 3 seconds and more).

Fanged Special Forces

The Rosgvardia has cynological units with more than 2,500 servicemen and 3,000 service dogs. The training of pets and their use in the troops is carried out in three categories:

patrol-search, mine search, guard service.

The priority areas in the activities of such units are the strengthening of guards and military detachments when performing tasks to protect important state facilities, protect public order, conduct special operations to combat illegal armed formations, and act as part of engineering units to search for explosive objects.

According to the press service of the Russian Guard, in 2016, during the performance of service and combat tasks by guards and military detachments, reinforced by service dogs, the following were arrested:

27 violators of restricted areas of important state objects, over 44 thousand violators of public order, of which 72 are suspected of committing crimes, 101 explosive objects and 285 rounds of various calibers were found.

The special pride of the Rosgvardia canine center, located in Balashikha, is the maternity complex. More than 20 puppies are raised in it annually, which they begin to teach in a playful way from the first months of life.

The food of the pets is rich, for a day everyone is supposed to:

400 grams of beef, 600 grams of cereals, 300 - vegetables

13 each - animal oil and salt.
