The evolutionary development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is proceeding by leaps and bounds. More recently, we wrote about the "Hawk", designed for environmental monitoring of the heavens, the next step is a more "down-to-earth" technique.
Air-Mule from the Israeli company Urban Aeronautics is conceived as a means of evacuating victims from conditions dangerous to humans. Simply put, the new drone will allow you to get people out of crisis situations without risking the rescuer, since only one person is involved in such an operation - the remote operator of the car. The vertical take-off and landing system, the propellers located inside the body of the device, as well as the compact dimensions - all this was created with an eye on the use of Air-Mule in urban conditions.
"Air mule", thanks to the propellers protected from the outside, can be used not only in peaceful rescue operations - the creators also talk about the possibility of evacuating the wounded from the battlefield. Think of the new drone as a "flying doctor" - to a certain extent.
