The event takes place in the presence of the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Beni Gantz and the Commander of the Ground Forces, Major General Sami Turgeman. Senior Army officers also take part in the joint demonstration.

Joint combat tests are carried out by specially trained cadets of military schools. At the same time, the purpose of the tests is to demonstrate the possibility of interaction between various units of the ground forces. They involve cadets of infantry, engineering, armored and artillery corps. They will perform exercises that combine a variety of combat techniques. These are urban warfare techniques, overcoming difficult obstacles, the use of artillery support, and the use of invasion techniques, along with air support for the Israeli Air Force, including medical evacuation and air supply.

Fully tests will last for ten days. The demonstration includes live fire and interaction between ground and air forces, showing the combat actions of the combined battalion in various operational conditions.

This will be the first joint combat demonstration featuring the Merkava Mark 4 tank and the Trophy tank's active defense system (Meil Ruach). The Meil Ruach system is a new anti-tank missile defense system and will be demonstrated when firing a mock missile at a tank.
