For any military man, the names "Bobik" and "Tablet" are immediately associated with military equipment, which actually bears these nicknames, like their civilian versions. Be that as it may, but these names evoke varying degrees of nostalgia - some positive, some negative.

The vehicles presented by the company from Nizhny Novgorod, which produces all-terrain vehicles, received a "second life", now they are called "Ukhtysh" and "Uzola" - especially light tracked all-terrain vehicles. By the way, the tracks of the cars are of an asphalt-passable type, on which you can drive on asphalt roads without any problems. All-terrain vehicles are certified as tractor equipment. Lightweight all-terrain vehicle "ZVM-2410" is designed to move people or small cargo on any weak-bearing surfaces, water and ice.

"Ukhtysh" or ZVM-2410 has a serious advantage over other tracked and wheeled all-terrain vehicles - it has the lowest specific pressure coefficient, created by the machine on the ground, 12.5 kPa. Only all-terrain vehicles on pneumatics can boast of such characteristics.

And now the most important thing that interests in the first place is how much such a solution will cost and what the fuel consumption will be. So, the cost of one unit in the basic configuration costs a little more than one million rubles, you see, not such an exorbitant amount for a lightweight all-terrain vehicle. Consumption, depending on driving, is 25-30 liters per 100 km. The all-terrain vehicle is available with a gasoline or diesel engine. Naturally, the diesel "ZVM-2410" consumption will be slightly less. The speed, as for tracked vehicles, is very decent and is up to 60 km / h off-road. The main highlight of the Ukhtyzh all-terrain vehicle is the ability to overcome water obstacles! Movement is carried out by turning the tracks at a speed of up to 5 km / h. It is possible to use an outboard motor to increase speed.

Construction and equipment

The interior of the car is made in the classic version - the seats and the panel are familiar from the salons of domestic UAZs.

The units and equipment of the all-terrain vehicle are taken from different cars of the domestic automotive industry:

- power and some transmission units from "UAZ";

- pneumatic compressor from PAZ;

- pneumatic cranes from the tractor.

All-terrain vehicles are based on a water-insulated boat, on which the upper part is installed, for Ukhtysh it is the top of the UAZ-469, for Uzola it is the top of the UAZ-452. The lower part (boat) is leaking, before overcoming water obstacles, it is necessary to turn on the pumps and lower the plate installed in front of the radiator.

Ukhtysh was the first vehicle created at the enterprise. Numerous domestic organizations and companies immediately showed interest in him. Now lightweight all-terrain vehicles are employed by power engineers, gas workers, geologists and oil workers.

The number of seats and seats depends on the customer's requirements - from two to eight (Uzola). The presence of a spacious body does not greatly affect the total weight of the ATVs. The standard capacity of Ukhtysh is up to 5 people (with a driver), payload is 50 kilograms. Rear seats can be folded down to increase payload capacity. For "Ukhtysh" the curb weight is 2.7 tons, for "Uzola" - 2.8 tons (weight differs depending on the modification). Additional equipment for all-terrain vehicles - trunk, winch, power bumpers, autonomous heater. As the creators assure, installation of almost any additional or specific equipment is possible.

A caterpillar track is the most expensive thing for an all-terrain vehicle. The base of the track is a metal plate with a tooth in a rubber-cord sheath. There are two RMSh inside the track. The connection between the tracks is carried out using tarsus (special iron plates), put on the RMSh projections. The lanterns are further connected to the extenders. At this time, the last modification of the tracks is used, in which the extenders are reinforced (earlier there were frequent breaks when driving on sharp stones). The warranty period is 8 thousand kilometers. If we compare prices for a tracked track, then they are much cheaper than their foreign counterparts - 130,000 rubles (for the Swedish BV-206 - 160,000 rubles). Installing the track on the all-terrain vehicle can be done by two people in just half an hour. As the practice of use has shown, the all-terrain vehicle turned out to be really domestic - you can dress the caterpillar with improvised means, for example, wooden bars. When using an all-terrain vehicle in winter, it is required to install a "snow cleaner" - an iron pin installed in the drive sprocket.

The propulsion systems for all-terrain vehicles can be installed in a variety of ways. At this time, gasoline ZMZ-409-10 or diesel ZMZ-514 (main) are installed in basic configurations. There are known cases of installation "on order" of foreign engines such as the Nissan turbo diesel RD28.

The box remained about a four-speed UAZ with a UAZ 2-speed transfer case. GAZ-71 got the main transmission body. Multi-disc clutches of dry friction with pneumatic control. Suspension is lever-torsion independent. Front and rear balancers are provided with shock absorbers. Suspension - six double rubberized support rollers with three supporting rollers on each side.

Exploitation

Movement on a lightweight all-terrain vehicle is quite comfortable and independent of the relief of the terrain being crossed. The movement of the machine is soft without any shaking sensation. The only thing inherited from the UAZ is the lack of sound insulation. In winter, the cabin is warm enough; in summer, you can open a large sunroof on the roof of the car. Driving a car has its own characteristics - the absence of a brake pedal and the presence of two levers instead of the steering wheel. The principle of operation is simple and has long been used in the control of tracked vehicles:

- levers towards yourself - braking, band brakes are included;

- lever left / right towards itself - turn left / right, the clutch of the engaged lever is disengaged, and the machine continues to move on one (opposite) clutch and accordingly begins to turn. Lack of inertia and fast gear changes become unusual for the driver of the car. However, getting used to this kind of driving happens quite quickly, because in fact, the control of the car is as simple as possible.
