Press conference KSPZ: The plant is 75 years old

Moscow. January 17 … On this day, a press conference was held at the central office of the International Information Group "Interfax" "The Klimovsk specialized cartridge plant named after Yu. V. Andropov is 75 years old. Achievements and Problems”. It was attended by journalists from many newspapers, magazines, television in Russia. The heads of the plant, heads of workshops and departments, advanced workers answered the questions of the correspondents.

Before the start of the conference, the Klimov delegation was received by the Director General of the Military News Agency V. V. Rudenko. He told the Klimovites about the work of Interfax and gave them a sightseeing tour of the building.

At exactly two o'clock the press conference began. Colonel-General A. A. Shkirko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KSPZ, made a report to the audience. He told reporters about the history of the establishment of the enterprise, about the most significant events that have taken place over the 75 years of its existence, and dwelt in detail on the problems that concern KSPZ employees today.

According to the general, the plant approached its anniversary as a leading enterprise in the industry for the manufacture of ammunition and weapons of the highest reliability and quality. Among enterprises that produce civilian, military and dual-use products, KSPZ is an example of stability in production and business. For a number of years, including in the crisis, 2008, and subsequent post-crisis, the plant has invariably worked and is working with profit. Moreover, the annual profit is spent not on the payment of dividends, but exclusively on the development of the enterprise. Shareholders do not purchase yachts, sports clubs, mansions abroad, but use funds to upgrade the equipment fleet, seriously equip the production base, and create comfortable conditions at work places.

A. A. Shkirko told reporters that in 2011 the plant mastered and put into mass production the traumatic pistol "Jorge-3M" - a technologically new product on the Russian market. This is the first serial pistol manufactured in Russia and the CIS countries, completely made of stainless steel and the most modern, high-strength plastics with the addition of carbon fiber. When developing the pistol, the goal was to create the most reliable weapon that requires minimal maintenance. The Jorge trademark was registered in 2006. The new pistol was first presented at the APMS & Hunting-2011 exhibition, held in Moscow, and aroused great interest among specialists.

The plant started serial production of a new pneumatic gas-cylinder pre-pumped rifle (PCP) "Horhe-Jäger" (Jorge-Jäger), which was presented at the same exhibition. The quality of the rifle has already been appreciated by hundreds of fans of shooting from this type of weapon. "Jaeger" has established itself as an accurate, powerful, but, at the same time, unpretentious weapon. He liked both sportsmen and hunters. An analogue of the Jaeger rifle made of stainless steel, as well as the Jorge-3M pistol, will soon be produced.

According to a survey of users on the well-known weapons Internet portal guns.ru - "Huntsman" was recognized as the best in the category "Breakthrough of the Year - 2011" among serial PCP rifles.

The plant continues with honor the glorious traditions of the Klimovsk defense industry, but, unfortunately, there are also problems. A. A. Shkirko lamented in his speech that at present the share of orders from state power structures in the total volume of the plant's production remains insignificant.

Answering the questions of numerous journalists, Anatoly Afanasyevich told them about the problems that exist in the relationship between the management of the enterprise with the Klimovsk city administration and municipal unitary enterprises of the city for many years and especially now, this year. As you know, KSPZ provides half of the residents of Klimovsk with heating and water, thereby providing the city with utilities. The plant approaches these issues very seriously, works reliably, avoiding any failures. In turn, the administration of Klimovsk and the municipal unitary enterprises controlled by it, receiving services from the plant, is extremely irresponsible in their timely payment. The issue of the boiler house of the KSPZ is constantly being politicized in order to divert the attention of the Klimovites from the real urban problems that have accumulated in Klimovsk since the time of Razuvaev. On the day of the press conference, the city owed KSPZ more than 30 million rubles for the hot and cold water supplied in December and January. Officials spent the New Year holidays in warm apartments at the expense of KSPZ, while the plant regularly pays for all services of municipal unitary enterprises. According to the general, the question involuntarily arises: where does the Klimov administration spend their taxpayers' money? Klimovites, most of whom work at our plant, honestly pay for their housing and utilities, and they do it in a timely manner. Moreover, they pay at the highest tariffs that currently exist on the territory of the Moscow region. And the mayor's office is in no hurry to pay for the services of the plant, the management of the KSPZ has to "knock out" debts from it with the help of the prosecutor's office and the government of the Moscow region. Officials of the city administration consider themselves unsinkable masters of the city, they think that they can do whatever they want in Klimovsk with impunity. They manage the money of the townspeople without reporting to anyone. History teaches us: megalomania has never brought anyone to any good, especially officials.

At the press conference, Russian journalists asked the heads of the KSPZ a variety of questions. They were interested in everything: what is the salary of the workers at the plant, why the Klimovsk administration behaves so inadequately, how much the Jorge pistol is in demand in law enforcement agencies, what new weapons and cartridges are being developed at the KSPZ today?

The participants of the conference were shown samples of new pistols, rifles and cartridges produced at the KSPZ on the basis of their patents and developments. The specialists of the plant Dmitry Torkhov and Sergey Maksimov told the journalists about their designs and manufacturing technologies.

The conference lasted two hours, after which a buffet table was held. At the buffet table, the discussion between journalists and employees of the KSPZ continued. They said that the state should not prevent active people from developing new types of weapons, especially if they do it at their own expense. KSPZ during its existence did not receive a single penny of subsidies. So, for example, today a new SPH cartridge (special cartridge "Jorge") is being created at KSPZ, the production of high-quality barrels has been mastered. All this is done at the expense of the enterprise and without any assistance from the state.

When asked by journalists whether KSPZ will participate in the tender for the development of a new generation machine gun, the plant's specialists replied that they would. But first you need to improve the cartridge for it, the barrel, pick up metal and plastic, and the gunsmiths themselves know how to do it - this is not a problem.

Two years ago, the management of the KSPZ submitted all the technical documentation and samples of the Jorge pistol to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Minister R. Nurgaliev liked the new weapon, and he assured that the Jorge pistols would be adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers. However, it is his attention.

Now the defense-industrial complex in the country has been entrusted to deal with Dmitry Rogozin. I would like to believe that he will be able to help put things in order in the military industry.

The general director of Interfax-AVN, Valentin Rudenko, on behalf of all the journalists who participated in the press conference, appealed to the plant's managers with a request to organize a press tour to Klimovsk. Colonel General A. A. Shkirko invited journalists to visit the enterprise in February.
