The transport-tracked all-terrain vehicle TGM 3T is intended for high-speed maneuvering movement (movement of personnel) over rough terrain and on unequipped roads.
The Belarusian enterprise "Minoton-Service" specializing in the design, creation and production of combat vehicles on a tracked base, founded in 1991, the company is engaged in the supply of military equipment to its main customers - the military departments of Russia and Belarus. In addition, Minoton-Service is currently the only Belarusian company that maintains and repairs military equipment on a tracked base by order of the Russian military department.
2003 year. At the international exhibition "IDEX", held in the United Arab Emirates, about 825 enterprises and companies from all over the world presented their products. There was presented a Belarusian vehicle on a tracked base - TGM ZT. The car was built in an incredibly short time. It took the designers about 6 months from the idea of creating such a machine to its implementation in metal. This was the first official demonstration of TGM ZT. The car was represented by the general director of Minotor-Service V. Grebenshchikov, he conducted a demonstration drive. In 2005, TGM ZT was presented at IDEX, which was also held in the UAE.
An interesting version of TGM ZT was presented by "Minotor-Service" in 2009 at the 5th international exhibition "Milex-2009" held in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. It presented their products from 8 countries - 145 models of equipment and weapons. The presented modification of TGM ZT is a kind of open multi-seat and all-terrain tracked "convertible". It is noteworthy that the interior of the car is made of leather, which gave the car an incredible individuality. According to representatives of the manufacturer, TGM ZT can be made in various versions, have weapons or protection, armor or increased cross-country ability.
2011. Last year, at the Belarusian exhibition MILEX-2011, the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle TGM ZT with the designation “Mosquito” took an active part in a military-technical demonstration performance. The performance was attended by servicemen of the fifth separate special forces brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. Performance script:
- during the alleged military conflict, the enemy shoots down the plane of "our" forces;
- the pilot catapults and lands on the enemy's territory;
- the pilot is captured;
- the reconnaissance group of "ours" frees the pilot from captivity.
The enemy arrived to capture the pilot in a standard "UAZ", the reconnaissance group used the transport tracked vehicle TGM 3T "Moskit" for movement. The performance took place on a small demonstration site, and TGM 3T was able to demonstrate its speed, all-terrain and maneuverability.
Transport all-terrain vehicles TGM 3T regularly take part in international exhibitions of weapons and exercises of units of the armed forces of Belarus. However, to date, such an all-terrain vehicle has not entered service with any army in the world. At present, the designers of the enterprise continue to develop the all-terrain vehicle, and the new vehicle will have the characteristics of TGM ZT and will be built on a new principle using new technologies and solutions.
The device and design of the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle
TGM ZT is equipped with a diesel engine, an automatic transmission, a hydrostatic-type swing mechanism, which ensure the achievement of increased speed and maneuvering characteristics. In addition to the driver, the all-terrain vehicle can accommodate 5 military personnel with full equipment. When placed in an all-terrain vehicle, passengers will be able to control their surroundings 360 degrees. Light weight and tightness allow the all-terrain vehicle to overcome all water obstacles in the direction of travel by rewinding the tracks in the water. It is possible (on demand) to produce all-terrain vehicles with installed water-jet propellers (or propellers). Layout of TGM ZT - uniform distribution of units throughout the machine. This is a distinctive and individual feature of the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle, which makes it possible to achieve optimal weight distribution. The power plant is located in the central part of the body. The engine and automatic transmission are installed there. In the front part of the body, a hydrostatic-type rotary mechanism is installed. The cooling system is distributed at the rear of the hull along the sides of the machine. It is possible to produce combat vehicles with various installed weapons. The use of the following weapons has been successfully tested for use in various units of the armed forces:
- automatic grenade launcher "AG-17" caliber 30 mm;
- heavy machine gun NSV-12.7, 12.7 mm;
- anti-tank missile complex "Baby";
- anti-tank missile complex "Metis";
- anti-tank missile system "Fagot";
- anti-tank missile complex "Konkurs";
- portable anti-aircraft missile system "MANPADS".
