PP "Specter M4" is manufactured by the Italian company "SITES". Main purpose - melee weapon for police forces or military forces. The first time PP "Specter M4" was presented at the Washington exhibition in 1983. Some of the design and technical solutions used in the creation of the submachine gun aroused wide interest, since they were revolutionary at that time.
The main requirements for creating a submachine gun are high technical readiness, instinctive aiming and high-density firing without reloading. PP "Specter M4" - almost the only submachine gun that has a self-cocking mechanism. Used in military and police units in Italy and some European countries.

When the trigger is pulled, the trigger will be released, which, under the influence of the mainspring, begins to move forward and acts on the drummer. The shot is made instantly after the shutter is locked.
The shutter, making its way back and forth when firing, forces air flows along and inside the barrel bore, which significantly reduces overheating of the entire barrel and reduces the likelihood of self-operation of the ammunition in the chamber during prolonged firing. External barrel protection - perforated steel casing. The sinusoidal groove of the channel allows to reduce the friction of the bullet when passing the barrel, which leads to a decrease in the heating temperature of the barrel when firing.
A distinctive design feature - there is no usual fuse, but there is a safety stopper. The stopper allows you to block the trigger from accidental triggering.
The trigger mechanism of double action provides instant opening of fire and does not require the execution of additional actions with the weapon.
Fire translator: upper position - single fire, lower position - continuous fire.
