Ostrogozhsk greeted us with heat. But no heat on that day could spoil the mood, for with great pleasure I state the fact that the organization of the competition was at the highest level. Both for the participants, as well as for the audience and the press. Since we were representatives of the latter, this could not but rejoice.
In the first lines, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Drobyshevsky and Lieutenant Yevgeny Polovodov, who, on behalf of the press service of the RF Ministry of Defense, did everything to make it convenient and interesting for the press to work. And even something beyond that, but more on that in the following materials.
In addition to the participants, there were many foreign guests from among the partners. There were Cubans, Egyptians, Turks. There were also Americans. Nobody called them, but they were present. Incognito, among the audience. So said the Deputy Minister of Defense, who commanded this whole parade.

Not bypassed awards and allies
A funny incident happened here. When a local priest was announced for the award, who in the unit was something like a political officer, the Chinese, next to whom I was standing, became very animated. I photographed them several times on their Chinese phones, the contact was established. And one of them, knowing that I was neither in Chinese nor in English, rummaged in my apparatus and joked with neighbors, gave out an awesome phrase: "Lama … in kind?"
Well, I answered in two languages in the affirmative.

In the following parts, we will tell you about the contests that we observed. It was impressive, Russians, Belarusians and Chinese were cut in earnest. Particularly impressive was the truck race in the huge pool.
Thanks to our benefactors, in particular to Lieutenant Polovodov, we put our operator with a camera into one of our "Kamaz" vehicles and drove him (albeit not in racing mode) across the water area. There will be a separate report on this stage.
In the end, the victory remained with the Russian team. Absolutely deserved. In the following articles, I will talk about some of the "military tricks" that the Chinese team has prepared. The Chinese were very serious about winning and without innovation, and looked very, very dignified. Personally, I liked the daring with which the Chinese performed. But some "thoughtfulness" is not very good. Competition after all. It is necessary to be more honest.
But in any case, pandas against brown bears are not that … not very good. So the second place of the PRC team is deserved, won, honestly. The Chinese team is a very tough contender. And, if there are such competitions next year, it will be even more difficult to cope with them. But - ours are also not baked. Let's see.
