The first graduation of women officers is being prepared at the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School (RVVDKU). In the corridors and auditoriums of this one of the most famous military universities in the country, you can hear the sonorous voices of girls. This is all the more surprising, because not all men are able to complete their studies here. And who would argue with the fact that being a paratrooper officer is not an easy and very often dangerous business. For the first time, female military personnel appeared in the records of the legendary school exactly 5 years ago. In 2013, the first release of female lieutenants will take place, who instead of high-heeled shoes and fashionable summer dresses will be dressed in ankle boots and camouflage suits, and instead of powder and lipstick in their handbags, they wear field command bags with maps and backpacks over their shoulders.

RVVDKU is one of the oldest educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Its full name is Ryazan Higher Airborne Assault Twice Red Banner Command School (Military Institute) named after General of the Army V. F. Margelov. The school traces its history back to November 13, 1918, when the first Ryazan infantry courses were formed in Ryazan. Since then, tens of thousands of cadres for our army have been trained within the walls of the school.

On June 23, 2013 at 11:00, the school will host the 132nd graduation of young officers who received higher education within the walls of the educational institution. During its work, the school managed to prepare and educate a whole galaxy of honored military leaders, as well as prominent public and state figures. Within the walls of the school, more than 48 thousand officers were trained for the Airborne Forces and other types of troops of our country. Among the graduates of the school there are 53 Heroes of the Soviet Union and 74 Heroes of the Russian Federation. The school enjoys a well-deserved popularity abroad; numerous foreign students study here every year. On June 11, 2013, military attaches from 80 countries of the world watched the training of signalmen and marines at the school. Military diplomats actually got acquainted with the teaching methodology in the school of special and general disciplines, simulators of the airborne complex and objects of the educational and methodological base. Recently, the school has also started training women officers.

Today RVVDKU is the only university in our country that trains female officers. Calling them experimental cadets does not dare to call them cute ladies - the army regulations do not allow. Their military life is not much different from life in the barracks of ordinary men. Perhaps the presence of dressing tables and plush toys. With them, the girls' rooms look somehow more comfortable.

Classes on organizing the internal routine for personnel are held in a regular barracks for male cadets. After completing their studies at the school, the girls will have to serve as platoon commanders. At the same time, the teachers of the school make a number of indulgences for the girls-cadets - maybe they do not assess their knowledge of the charter so strictly, and give commands not so loudly. Already by the 3rd year, the cadets had a dozen jumps, practiced movements in the tactics of removing the sentry, sergeant stripes on shoulder straps.

Future female officers will be commanders of airborne platoons and other units. They learned to operate combat vehicles and personnel, made parachute jumps, and also learned to survive in inhumanly difficult conditions, to perform complex combat missions. At the same time, not all the girls were able to reach the final exams - out of two dozen cadets, only 14 people could get to graduation. Some of the girls left the walls of the school for health reasons, someone got married, believing that they could bring more benefits by doing family matters.

All graduates who graduate from college this year will receive the specialty of a platoon commander for parachute handlers. For this reason, the conduct of hostilities will not be their profile. Representatives of the beautiful half of humanity have successfully mastered the specialty "Use of airborne support units". Graduates of the Ryazan Airborne School will command units of parachute handlers, as well as assist in the release of paratroopers and equipment, including with the use of special complex multi-dome systems, as well as landing platforms.

The new release of the Ryazan Airborne School proved to the whole world that the commander's voice could well be girlish and sonorous. Instead of pens and notebooks - machine guns and grenades, instead of a desk - a trench. The girls took part in the most real field exercises, the purpose of which was to encircle and destroy the enemy. It would seem that the most ordinary exercises, but the offensive is led by the cadets of the Ryazan Airborne School. The girls who have gone through this real school of courage have to take the last step - to pass the final exams, after which they will have real shoulder straps of a Russian officer on their shoulders.

Currently, Ryazan has already got used to flirty bangs from under caps in camouflage. Like the girls themselves, they are used to wearing backpacks behind their backs instead of ordinary handbags. According to Irina Titorova, who is a cadet of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, the girls had to act in the role of a company commander, personally giving orders to fire weapons and combat vehicles to destroy the enemy. Looking at how the targets shot down by the girls fall one after another, you understand that these cadets will not only stop a galloping horse, but will be able to fight back any enemy, even if it comes to hand-to-hand combat.

Although the teachers of the university say that cadets, like all other military men, are not divided into the weaker and stronger sex, they immediately make a reservation that commanding is not entirely a woman's business. Vyacheslav Rakov, a lecturer at the Department of Armaments and Shooting of the RVVDKU, believes that military service is more of a male path than a female one. At the same time, on the sidelines, directly in the role of officers of the airborne service, women will be at the proper height and in good standing with the authorities.

Confidently holding onto the lines of their own parachutes, future girls-paratroopers, who already have more than a dozen independent parachute jumps behind them, are well aware of what the sky is and what heights they would like to achieve in life. Maria Maltseva, a cadet of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, notes that a soldier who would not dream of becoming a general is bad. The graduates of the Ryazan university have every chance to make this dream come true. Maria believes that some of the graduates will certainly be able to achieve this high title.

All girls are looking forward to the moment when real lieutenant stars will be on their female shoulders. The obstacle course is the last breakthrough to a diploma, and these labyrinths and walls have become familiar to them over the 5 years spent at the university. After passing the exam, they will be able to slightly paint their lips and slightly draw their eyes. Indeed, even in such a harsh male profession, you can always find a place for small female weaknesses.
