The new system of monetary allowances, which will start working in the army from next year, will also be introduced in law enforcement agencies, where the law provides for military service.
This information came yesterday from an interdepartmental working group dealing with the reform of financial payments in the Armed Forces. The country's president set guidelines for revising the army salary. At a recent collegium of the Ministry of Defense, Dmitry Medvedev confirmed that from January 1 of next year, the salary of servicemen will increase on average three times and will amount to at least 50 thousand rubles a month for officers.
The interdepartmental group has already decided on the future structure of such payments. They will be based on a new tariff scale. Not only the ranks of servicemen will be revised, but also the structure of allowances. It is assumed that 60 percent of the army salary will consist of salaries according to position and rank, and another 40 - from various payments. An additional burden to the officer's purse, in particular, is guaranteed by special conditions of service, class, admission to classified information. Let's say a lieutenant, whom fate has thrown to the Far North, will be able to claim 80 thousand a month. If, of course, he will conscientiously command the soldiers and pass control checks perfectly.
The salaries of contract soldiers will also increase. Instead of the current 7-10 thousand, they will receive about 25 thousand rubles a month. For example, they want to give a professional shooter a "ten" for the position and five thousand for the rank of private. Another 9-10 thousand will provide him with allowances. These indicators for officers will look like this. Lieutenant, platoon leader: 20 thousand for the position, 10 thousand for the rank. For the regiment commander, the basic salary will increase to 40-42 thousand. The brigade commander has up to 44 thousand.
Well, the generals will feel the difference most of all. For example, an army commander can count on 54,000 "basic" rubles. And the four-star deputy minister of defense - by 67 thousand.
Taking into account the allowances, the developers of the new system propose to reach such a level of military salary: lieutenant - 50 thousand, colonel - more than 60, major general - over 73, lieutenant general - more than 90 and, finally, general of the army - about 112 thousand rubles a month … This, we note, is somewhat less than the military promised. Earlier, army leaders claimed that from next year the same brigade commander would receive about one hundred thousand. It is possible that some parameters will be revised during the evaluation of the financial project in the government and the Kremlin.
And what awaits military pensioners? According to the President of Russia, their payments will increase by at least 1.6 times. More details are not yet available. But experts say that no fundamental changes in the current scheme of military pension accruals seem to be foreseen.
This means that payments to retirees will continue to depend on three indicators - military position, rank and length of service of the veteran. Various service allowances will not be taken into account.
