Hundreds of servicemen of the Russian army suffer from colds. According to Life News. more than 300 soldiers of the RF Armed Forces were hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia, and the same number with suspicion of it.

So, according to the publication, an outbreak of the disease in a military unit near the town of Chebarkul in the Chelyabinsk region forced the command to introduce a special regime for controlling the sick. The disease has already claimed the life of Private Konstantin Tsybunov, who died in the hospital due to complications in the lungs.

According to the relatives of the young people called up to carry the military duty, in part, the disease began to mow down one guy after another at the moment when the cold came to the region. The onset of the temperature minus immediately revealed the minus of the economic one - the barracks in which the recruits live is practically not heated.

Simple acute respiratory infections, which are far from uncommon in winter, instantly gave complications to the lungs. Private Konstantin Tsybuk was one of the first to have a fever.

“A few days before his death, my brother called me and said that because of the cold I had to sleep in a pea jacket,” says Konstantin's younger sister Ksenia. - Kostya lay all day with a high temperature.

Colleagues tried to treat him on their own. The doctors diagnosed him with pneumonia to the hospital, where he was nevertheless taken, but due to complications, Kostya could not be saved. Such a grief for our family! My brother has a 10-month-old daughter."

But Konstantin was the first in the chain of children who fell ill with pneumonia. One by one, the soldiers began to enter the medical unit with fever, coughing and severe chest pains.

“Over the past two days, more than 50 children with fever have been admitted to the hospital,” said the mother of one of the servicemen.

Meanwhile, the military prosecutor's office has already become interested in the outbreak of pneumonia in the unit. "At the moment, a check is being carried out in Chebarkul" On the safety of the life and health of servicemen, "said Sergei Bogomolov, press secretary of the military prosecutor's office of the Volga-Ural military district. "We are also investigating the cause of death of Private Tsybuk."

A similar situation is developing in Mordovia. 26 recruits undergoing military service in Saransk were urgently hospitalized in the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital, writes "Stolitsa S". The conscripts complained of high fever and headaches.

“The conscripts from the military unit began to enter our medical institution since December 27,” says the chief physician of the republican infectious diseases hospital Vladimir Kargaev. - All patients were taken by ambulance.

Young people from 18 to 23 years old complained of cough, sore throat, high temperature. They were placed in two departments … "" Most have an acute respiratory viral infection, "says Svetlana Gruzintseva, chief freelance infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova. - One was diagnosed with bronchitis, six - pneumonia. A state of moderate severity. Today there is no threat to life."

According to unofficial information, conscripts from Bashkiria became the spread of the virus. Apparently, the young people felt unwell on the way to Mordovia. “I believe that the recruiting commissions, which let the unhealthy recruits through, are to blame for what happened,” explains the commander of military unit No. 86276, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Fominov. - We immediately placed the sick in the infirmary. With my own money, I bought them lemons, antipyretic drugs. Hot drinks and evening walks in the fresh air were organized. But when one of the conscripts' temperature rose to 39.6, it became clear that we could not cope on our own. Usually, in such cases, we are obliged to send patients to a military hospital, but this institution is many kilometers away. Therefore, we turned to local doctors …”.
