Literally the next day after the Address of the President of the Russian Federation, in which the head of state, among other things, said that servicemen should be engaged primarily in combat training, the Ministry of Defense reported on how it would look. According to the military department, from December 1 (on this day the school year begins in the troops) soldiers in the army will be engaged in combat training for eight hours a day, four of which will be devoted to special physical education.
According to the order in force until recently in the troops, it was simply physically impossible to spend so much time on combat training. In the most general case, the daily routine looked like this: wake up at 6 in the morning, then exercise, breakfast and morning divorce, at which the personnel receive a routine according to their specialty in training places. Then at 14.00 lunch, after which the soldiers are driven into classes where they study theory, learn the regulations. Classes are conducted by UCP officers (public and state training). After supper, before the evening check and walk, the soldiers have their own time. Among other things, outfits are an integral part - interior work, cleaning of territories and chores.
Now, "personnel in the course of their daily activities will be completely relieved of functions not related to combat training," the Defense Ministry said. At the same time, up to two thirds of the study time will be spent on practical exercises. When conducting field trips, the duration of the school day will be up to 10 hours. However, the military department made a reservation that no one is going to completely abandon the outfits so far (after all, the outfit also implies guard duty), but most of the household work will indeed be undertaken by hired civilian personnel.
“Everyone understands that there is a lot of moronism in the army,” a former employee of the recently disbanded Main Directorate of Combat Training told MK. - Nobody wants to go to serve, because they have to paint the grass and build summer cottages for the generals. But how much would the percentage of draft deviators decrease if young people clearly understood that they were going to join the troops to do business, learn how to handle weapons, improve their physical form, comprehend the basics of martial arts … in the army, a person would understand that he spent this time, not only repaying his debt to the Motherland, but also deriving benefit for himself.
With such serious loads as combat training for 8 hours a day, of course, serious nutrition is also needed. After all, this is comparable to athletes who train for the same amount of time, but at the same time have a special diet, additional vitamins. The Ministry of Defense is now developing a new power supply system for the troops.
