The meeting of the Union of paratroopers of Russia demanding the resignation of Serdyukov is permitted - on November 7 at 12.00 on Poklonnaya Hill …

The application submitted by the Union of Russian Paratroopers with a request for permission in the first half of November for a rally on Poklonnaya Gora was fully satisfied. "The rally will take place on Poklonnaya Gora on November 7 at 12:00," Colonel General Vladislav Achalov, head of the Russian Paratroopers' Union, ex-commander of the USSR Airborne Forces, told the Russian Line.

The Russian paratroopers' Union submitted an application for the action to the Moscow mayor's office on Monday, October 25. The text of the document referred to the number of paratroopers in 10 thousand people and any date convenient for the authorities - in the first half of November.

As it became known, on the eve of the rally, on November 6, a congress of the Union of Russian Paratroopers will be held in Moscow, at which, presumably, among other problems, questions will be raised in connection with the incident at the Ryazan School.

“We want to express our thoughts out loud so that the people can hear us,” General Vladislav Achalov said after submitting the application. - We want one thing, so that not only Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, but also Pankov (State Secretary of the Defense Ministry) and Makarov (Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces) resign. Stop experimenting with people."

He also explained that, together with the veteran paratroopers, many public organizations, including the Cossack ones, expressed a desire to come to the rally. At the same time, Vladislav Achalov did not name the exact number of those who are going to support the Union of Russian paratroopers at the rally for the resignation of Anatoly Serdyukov, explaining that he does not ask the leaders of these organizations how many people they will bring with them.

The former commander of the USSR Airborne Forces stressed that the meeting would not be limited to the meeting. Now veterans of the Airborne Forces are collecting signatures under an appeal to the President of Russia with a request to deal with the situation and dismiss Defense Minister Serdyukov.
