The ten largest world arms suppliers in terms of the projected volume of military equipment exports in 2011, in descending order, will include: Germany ($ 5.3 billion), France ($ 4.02 billion), Great Britain ($ 3.44 billion), Italy (2, 94 billion dollars), category "tender" (2.34 billion dollars), Israel (1.38 billion dollars), Sweden (1.34 billion dollars) and China (1.16 billion dollars).

For certain categories of weapons, the first place in the structure of Russia's military exports in 2011 will be taken by aviation equipment - $ 3.384 billion (33.4% of the total export volume), including fighters - $ 3.014 billion, TCS / UBS - 230 USD million, BTA aircraft - USD 100 million, BPA aircraft - USD 40 million.

The second place will be taken by naval equipment - 2.33 billion dollars (20.7%), including submarines - 730 million dollars, surface warships of the main class - 1.94 billion dollars, boats and small landing ships - 330 million dollars

The third place will be taken by armored vehicles - 1.759 billion dollars (17, 35%), including main battle tanks - 929 million dollars, armored combat vehicles - 830 million dollars.

The volume of deliveries in the category of "helicopter technology" is projected at $ 1.358 billion (13.4%), including attack helicopters - $ 360 million, anti-submarine helicopters - $ 400 million, multipurpose helicopters - $ 600 million.

The volume of supplies of air defense equipment will be about 750 million dollars (7.4%).

In the segment of missile and artillery weapons, the order book for delivery in 2011 is 48.4 million dollars (0.5%).

For all other categories of weapons, the volume of supplies is projected at 735 million dollars (7, 25%).

The conclusion of the largest contracts in 2011 is planned in the field of military aviation equipment. The first export contract for the supply of the Su-35 is expected to be signed. The most likely customers are Libya. Venezuela and China.

A contract for the supply of 8 Su-30MK fighters is expected to be signed with Indonesia.

It is planned to sign a contract with India for the purchase of 42 additional Su-30MKI fighters. In addition, the Indian Air Force's intention to modernize 50 Su-30MKI fighters, which were delivered in the first batches, should receive more specific content.

Contracts for the supply of the MiG-29 can be signed with Sri Lanka and a number of other countries.

In 2011, the Indian Ministry of Defense will decide on the winner of the tender for the supply of 126 medium multifunctional combat aircraft, for which Russia presented the MiG-35.

It is planned to conclude contracts with China for the supply of the next consignments of the RD-93 and AL-31FN aircraft engines.

The conclusion of new contracts for the supply of Yak-130UBS is forecasted. In addition to the tender, which is being held by Indonesia, the conclusion of agreements for direct delivery is possible with Syria, Vietnam and Belarus.

It is also expected that the program with India will continue to supply two additional Falcon AWACS aircraft. If a contract is concluded, Russia will provide Israel with two more Il-76 platforms.

In the field of military transport aviation, China will continue negotiations to renegotiate the contract on new terms.

Possibly, package contracts with Saudi Arabia and Yemen will be realized at least partially. Most likely, the package contract with Venezuela in the amount of $ 5 billion has not yet been fully formed, and this work will be completed in 2011.

On the helicopter theme, the largest contract is expected with India for the supply of 59 Mi-17-1V medium transport helicopters. In addition, Russia participates in four tenders for the supply of helicopter equipment, held by the Indian Air Force and Navy.

Obviously, negotiations on the supply of helicopters with Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Nicaragua and a number of other countries will continue. It is planned to conclude a contract with China for the supply of one Mi-26 helicopter. In addition, China has expressed interest in supplying a number of other types of Russian helicopters. Large deliveries of helicopters are expected to Afghanistan.

In addition to the countries with which package contracts have already been concluded or are planned to be concluded, the most promising customers for air defense systems are Venezuela, Brazil, Egypt, Cyprus, Syria and Vietnam; in the submarine segment - Indonesia (tender), Syria, Venezuela, Egypt; in the armored vehicle segment - Indonesia, UAE, Sudan, Bangladesh (in 2011, final clarity on the planned purchase of BMP-3 by Greece should also be made); promising partners in the armored vehicle segment are Brazil, Argentina, India, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan (work with China will also continue); in the segment of main class surface warships and boats, new programs can be implemented with India, Vietnam and Indonesia.

A number of countries have expressed interest in purchasing coastal missile systems, in particular, in the Middle East region.

In general, the projected volume of contracts to be concluded in 2011 will significantly exceed the volume of supplies, which will further increase the portfolio of Russian export orders, which currently stands at about $ 45 billion.
