As UralPolit. Ru was informed in the Strategic Communications Department of the Tractor Plants Concern, the Defense Ministers of Greece and Serbia, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the General Director of the Greek Arms Purchase Department visited the concern's stand.

High-ranking officials were keenly interested in the directions of modernization of the BMP-3, as well as the BMP-3F, BREM-L. The materials demonstrated by the specialists of OJSC Kurganmashzavod and OJSC Special Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering (SKBM) once again convinced the Greek side that negotiations on the supply of lightly armored Russian-made equipment should be resumed in the very near future.

“We are ready to cooperate with Greece,” says Vyacheslav Zhukov, deputy chief designer of SKBM. - The issues of completing the modernized BMP-3 in an acceptable version for the Greek armed forces have already been discussed and worked out on a bilateral level more than once. And we can resume and continue this work at any time.

The stand presented by Tractor Plants was one of the most visited at the exhibition - it was visited by representatives of the Greek Ministry of Defense, military delegations of NATO countries and numerous guests of the exhibition.
