The Ural Automobile Plant of GAZ Group presents promising four-wheel drive vehicles - truck tractors and an onboard three-axle vehicle - at the All-Russian Exhibition "Russian Manufacturers and Supply of the Armed Forces - 2010". A large exhibition forum takes place in Moscow from 17 to 19 November.
The basis of the exposition of the automobile plant is a fundamentally new development - an all-wheel drive vehicle "Ural-63704" of increased carrying capacity with a cabover cab (wheel arrangement 6x6). At the All-Russian Forum, it is presented as a "truck tractor". The tractor is designed for towing semi-trailers at an air temperature from -45 ° C to + 40 ° C on all types of roads and terrain, the gross vehicle weight is 33.4 tons, the total mass of the road train is 63 tons. The main unit of the Ural-63704 vehicle is diesel six-cylinder engine YaMZ-650 of ecological class "Euro-4" with a capacity of 412 hp. The assembly line for this vehicle began in July 2010.
The semitrailer tractor is equipped with components and assemblies of world quality standards and has an increased service life: a mechanical sixteen-speed gearbox ZF 16S2220TD with synchronizers, a mechanical two-speed transfer case ZF VG200 with a cylindrical lockable center differential, Raba Maxs axles with spaced differential center differential on the middle axle), PreLine coarse fuel filters, Hella modular lighting technology with increased impact resistance. The tipping of the machine cab is hydraulic, with the possibility of electric duplication. The vehicles are equipped with a three-circuit pneumatic service braking system with ABS. The design features of the machine provide for the possibility of installing an automatic tire inflation system. The cars are equipped with a double cab of a cabover version of increased comfort with a berth. The interior and parameters of the workplace (visibility and sound insulation) have been improved in the cab. The fuel tank capacity of the tractor is 500 liters.
Another promising truck tractor is presented at the exhibition forum - the off-road Ural-44202-59 in bonnet design (wheel arrangement 6x6). It is designed for operation as part of road trains with a gross weight of up to 38 tons together with semitrailers for the transportation of lightly armored vehicles. The car is equipped with a YaMZ-236NE2 230 hp engine. and a mechanical five-speed gearbox YAMZ-2361. The semitrailer tractor is equipped with a new comfortable three-seater hood-type cab that meets all modern regulatory and ergonomic requirements.
The company's exposition also includes the Ural-4320-3951-58 all-wheel drive vehicle (wheel arrangement 6x6, carrying capacity 10 tons) with a cabover cab. The car was created in the process of modernization of the Ural-4320 serial chassis: by replacing the traditional bonneted cab with a cabover one, it was possible to increase the assembly length of the body, which makes it possible to transport containers with Euro dimensions. The truck is equipped with a YaMZ-236NE 230 hp diesel engine.with turbocharging, as well as a mechanical five-speed gearbox YaMZ-2361. A vehicle with an onboard platform is designed to transport people and goods, as well as tow trailers on all types of roads and terrain.
The main feature of Ural vehicles is their high cross-country ability: the ability to drive off-road is provided by a powerful engine, a special design of driving axles and a centralized tire air regulation system. Trucks "Ural" have a high maintainability, are designed for garage-free storage, and are also capable of operating effectively at air temperatures from -50 to + 50 ° C. On the basis of the chassis of Ural cars, more than 200 samples of special equipment are mounted: shift buses, cranes, tankers, fuel tankers, fire trucks, repair shops, equipment for the oil and gas and timber industry, mining and utilities. The Ural family of vehicles has a high degree of unification of aggregates and components, which makes it possible to reduce the costs of production, operation and maintenance.
