All the tasks planned for the first flight were successfully accomplished, the agency's source said. According to him, all aircraft systems were operating normally.

The second prototype of the PAK FA was previously tested on the ground.

At the same time, the first prototype of the T-50 was tested, which has already completed about 40 flights by now.

The completion of the flight performance tests of the T-50 is planned for 2012. Already in 2013, the RF Ministry of Defense plans to conclude an agreement with the Sukhoi Design Bureau for the supply of 10 aircraft for testing weapons. Thus, the entire set of tests is planned to be completed by the end of 2013. The serial purchase of aircraft will take place within the framework of the state armaments program for 2011-2020 and will begin in 2016. In addition to 10 fighters, which will be purchased for testing weapons, 60 such aircraft will be purchased from 2016.

Recall that the first flight of the Russian fifth generation fighter took place on January 29 last year.

The main technical characteristics of the fighter are classified. At the same time, it is known that the aircraft will be able to take off and land on a runway with a length of 300-400 meters, will have a high level of intellectualization of the board.

The PAK FA will be capable of performing combat missions at any time of the day or in the weather, and will also be super-maneuverable.
