They changed our brotherly second platoon on guard, everything seemed to be fine, changed, I threw the first shift to the posts, brought dinner, set up the second shift, and then the devil pulled me to count the machines that were in the pyramid, counted, estimated the number, and then it did not agree, one machine is missing. I say to the assistant nachkar: "Crooked, there is no trunk." He told me: "It can't be." I counted it myself - definitely not. only had time to tell the chief, the officer on duty at the training center, the zamkombat of the local support battalion, was walking. Dry yells if only the trunks did not count, but he counted as evil and revealed no coincidence for one machine gun, the disassembly went quickly. It turned out that when they were changing, the old guard grabbed an extra barrel, and since the machine guns were brought in a heap to the company and thrown to the company officer on duty, he simply arranged them by numbers, wrote off, and that was all. When the company was on duty with a new officer on duty, they counted the weapons, one AK turned out to be superfluous, the company commander was not told more, after all, no less (the stock of the ass, as they say, not f … t). Well, in the end, all the showdowns passed, and by one in the morning everything calmed down: they brought the missing machine gun - everything was according to plan, as they say. At two o'clock I go to set the shift, set up the second post, came to the third, and the third was the park of the training center, on both sides there was a forest, a thorn and immediately a forest, the norms were not met for the equipment of the post. So, I come - there is no sentry, I reported to the nachkar on the radio station. He says, look and that's it. Let's look for him with the whole shift, but the territory is large, there is no sentry, we are looking for half an hour - no. Bad thoughts began to appear in my head, all mlyn, kirdyk (my sidekick was Vitalik). An hour later, I put up a new sentry and moved with a change to the guardhouse, to keep the council of war with the staff and all the guard, what to do. On the way to her, in the light of a lonely lantern, they saw a lone figure, which wandered along the road to the guardhouse. We came closer - Vitalik is standing, we are already stunned, where, we ask, he says, I’m walking from a neighboring village, I have trampled about five kilometers. After his story, we laughed for a long time: it turned out, when he was at the post, he got tired of wandering in the park, and he climbed into the medical car (AC 66), lay down at the far end of the box and fell asleep. I woke up from the fact that the car was shaking, and in the kunga a nurse was sitting and a sick soldier was lying on a stretcher, he told her: "Where are we going?" She says in shock: "I urgently need to go to the hospital in the city." Then they stopped the car, and Vitalik went to the training center on his own.
