The scandal around the unworthy behavior of Defense Minister Serdyukov during his visit to the Airborne Forces training center near Ryazan entered a new stage. After several days of shock, the brains of the "stoolists" with a creak turned to the command "to wet", and "all the stool army" began to resolve this scandal.
A team of network agents "denied everything!"
First, a gentleman under the "nickname" "falcon" got out at one near-war forum, who immediately blamed Krasov for all the blame and accused him of begging. They say that Krasov asked the minister for 200 million for the landfill, but when he saw the mess all around, he gave the beggar a fair dressing down.
Moreover, this "falcon" referred to a PERSONAL conversation with the PARTICIPANT.
A flock of networked frenzy-patriotic lemmings to these sounds of a pipe immediately, naturally, got excited and rushed towards the pipers from the Moscow region, shouting: here it is, it turns out, as it really was! The number of links and re-posts on the "falcon" went through the roof.
But I questioned not only the reality of communication of this "falcon" with the "participant in the incident", but in general his conscientiousness, tk. he simply could not communicate with the participants (I proved this by listing everyone who was at this scene and explaining why he did not meet with any of them), he twisted all the facts to the last, and twisted them exclusively in the direction of whitewashing Serdyukov.
Today it is clear that this gentleman was simply lying. The only question is: did he do it at the suggestion of the "curators", or simply on his own frenzy, patriotic initiative, out of personal love for Serdyukov.
Then, on various forums and blogs, a whole chorus of bloggers and journalists close to the Kremlin and close to the Moscow Region, as one, undertook to question the minister's mate, and even the very fact of the scandal, calling all this the inventions of "old men" who have gone out of their minds. The "old people who survived from their minds" turned out to be such prominent and respected people in the army as the former commander of the Airborne Forces Vladislav Achalov, the former head of the Ryazan Airborne School, Hero of the Soviet Union Albert Slyusar, and the former chief of intelligence of the Airborne Forces Pavel Popovskikh. This alone, to put it mildly, was alarming. It was possible to call legendary people and very well aware of the value of a word that way only if you had serious proof of their wrongness in your hands.
For a very long time, there was simply no evidence. Everything went on fingers and in general.
Then, on Lenta Ru, information appeared with reference to a conversation with a participant in the scandal, Hero of Russia, Krasov, where the scandal was described as follows: “According to Krasov, the head of the Ministry of Defense did indeed make a number of remarks during his visit to the Seltsy training center on September 29. In particular, Serdyukov expressed dissatisfaction with the unfinished repair of the canteen and engineering networks. The conversation was very emotional both on the part of Krasov and on the part of Serdyukov, but it was business communication, the commander emphasized. The Ryazan school has already begun to eliminate the shortcomings identified during the visit of the Minister of War …"
Then the well-known statement of the commander of the Airborne Forces Vladimir Shamanov appeared. In his opinion: … The conflict between Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and the commander of the Ryazan Higher Command School of the Airborne Forces, Colonel Andrei Krasov, was invented from scratch.
The Defense Minister really expressed doubts about the advisability of building a temple opposite the educational building, - said Lieutenant General Vladimir Shamanov.- The fact is that the temple is located far from the nearest villages, and the cadets themselves stay on the territory of the training center for a short time. The minister proposed to move the temple to one of the villages so that parishioners could take care of it."
And finally, almost ten days after the first information appeared, one of the people closest to Minister Serdyukov, Grigory Naginsky, spoke out with the following text at the pocket Kremlin "IA REGNUM".
“We went through, looked at the objects that have been unfinished since 2008-2009. In my understanding, the previous commander violated everything that could be violated, because the limits for 2009 and 2010 were not allocated for construction in Seltsy, so the fact that he put builders there, who earned 180 million rubles there, is illegal from all sides in my understanding. Therefore, after going around and inspecting these objects, we ran into a store there, which is located on the territory of the military unit. Such eyes stared at the Minister of Defense and at me: who are you? There is no cash register, nothing, there is trade.
Nothing terrible happened there. I believe that if people who were 120 meters behind us heard something, thought it over and put it on the Internet, they are dishonest people. I can say that there was no rudeness and swearing, but raised tones, when on the territory of the part entrusted to you, someone trades and someone builds for 180 million rubles, this probably causes natural indignation and, accordingly, the conversation is in a raised tone.
Explain to me why on the territory of a military unit there should be a temple? Here is the dining room, here here are people jumping from a parachute, and here is a temple, well, why should it be there? The villages are the place where the paratroopers come to study in the field, and then they return back to the city of Ryazan, there is a temple. I am absolutely in solidarity with the Minister of Defense - what I saw there causes indignation. There were no orders to move the church.
The training center is, was and will be. The money has been allocated, and will continue to be allocated, but we will deal with non-purposefulness separately, there are special bodies for this. If all this is left with impunity, everyone will open their military units and on the territory of the military forces whoever, whatever, will build."
Actually, all protection of the minister is built on these three pillars. All his defenders and admirers now rely on them.
Well, let's just analyze these texts point by point in order to understand how much they defend and justify the minister and how much they refute the statements of the Union of Paratroopers.
So, about the very fact of the minister's ugly behavior and the insult of Colonel Krasov.

Two of the three sources confirm the "emotional conversation" between Serdyukokva and Krasov. It can, of course, be assumed that they exchanged innocent barbs and swooped down in the expressions of the inist's noble maidens. At the same time, Naginsky makes a reservation "if people … heard something …". That is, people could "hear something"..
What could people "hear"?
Swearing from Serdyukov's lips is not news to anyone.
So, during the debriefing at the General Staff following the results of the Georgian campaign, in the presence of a whole hall of officers and generals, he switched to swearing, indiscriminately accusing the military that they were to blame for the gross miscalculations of this campaign.
A year before, at the summing up, in the same General Staff, Serdyukov, without hesitation in expressions, but a little more in a narrow circle, expressed everything he thinks about the military leadership.
Serdyukov's strong words were also heard by the Black Sea sailors during his blitz visit to Sevastopol in February 2009.
So you can, of course, convince yourself that the communication of an enraged Serdyukov with some colonel there was like an electrician's, to whom a friend dripped molten tin on his leg in kindergarten: "Vasya, you're wrong!" - but personally I don't believe in it.
Now about the essence of the conflict.
What was Colonel Krasov to blame for?

Therefore, bypassing and inspecting these objects, we ran into a store there, which is located on the territory of a military unit. People looked like these eyes at the Minister of Defense and at me: who are you? there is no apparatus, nothing, there is trade … "(Naginsky).
Very interesting! Three sources - and all three explain the conflict differently!
Tape Ru - an unfinished repair of the canteen and communications, Shamans - the construction of a temple, and a friend of the minister - some illegal construction and a store where there is no cash register.
A strange inconsistency. It seems that, having lowered the "pointer" to extinguish the scandal, the Ministry of Defense did not even bother to choose a line of behavior. But in vain! Because when you fold them, you get just a wonderful picture.
The approval of the Ministry of Defense officials on "Lenta. RU" about unfinished communications as the cause of Serdyukov's anger is simply torn to shreds by Naginsky, who calls this very construction illegal and violates all norms. At the same time, for some reason, the commander of the Airborne Forces Shamanov is not at all aware of what caused this scandal. In his opinion, this is a temple built out of place. But for Naginsky, the temple is just an annoying trifle, which, moreover, Serdyukov is not going to endure.

It turns out that either the Ministry of Defense, represented by Serdyukov, does not even consider it necessary to inform the commander of the Airborne Forces, what is it (MO) in the troops entrusted to him (Shamanov) is dissatisfied, or Shamanov is a maddened madman who has completely lost contact with his own troops and "forgets" reasons for the displeasure of MO.
Or there was simply no real reason for the highest runaway!
And now one more spicy detail, which, in my opinion, puts everything in place: "Hero of Russia, Guards Colonel Andrey Leonidovich Krasov was appointed head of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School (Military Institute) named after General of the Army V. F. Margelov in January 2010 by decree No. 52 of the President of Russia. " That is, EVERYTHING that Mr. Naginsky dumped on Colonel Krasov's head in "explaining" the reasons for Serdyukov's highest anger has nothing to do with Krasov himself! Both the "samostroy" and the temple in Seltsy were built BEFORE its appointment, which took place only 10 months ago! Let me remind you that in the days of the USSR, when the army was, unlike the current one, more organized and more efficient, the senior officer was usually given a year to fully enter the post. Just by default, tk. a year is a standard life cycle for troops.
Well, Krasov could not INDEPENDENTLY, without an order, take and decide that the church in Seltsy was superfluous and destroy it, and at the same time, on his own initiative, assess the scale of construction and "sort out" 180 million rubles. Actually, for this, the commission was supposed to fly in, which was supposed to HELP Krasov with the problems that had accumulated here.
And now a few more points.
Nowhere in the directives and orders of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff are there any instructions explaining or ordering the construction of temples on the territory of military units. Temples and chapels are usually built by the common decision of military personnel and their families in a place that is most suitable for this and does not interfere with official activities. So, for example, right at the entrance to the General Staff building on the territory of the Moscow Region, a chapel-chapel of Saints Boris and Gleb was built. And Serdyukov drives past him every morning. For some reason, he does not bother him.
How did the small wooden church under construction in Seltsy "hinder" him? And by what right his deputy, Mr. Naginsky, is indignant at his presence, no one here can explain.
So what's left in the bottom line?
And there remains an extremely unattractive story, when the head of the school, Hero of Russia, appointed 10 months ago, Colonel Krasov, who was waiting for the arrival of the commission headed by the Minister of Defense and the solution of the accumulated problems on the spot, instead of a calm constructive visit of the "reformer" (as it is positioned by the lemmings in love with Serdyukov) ran into a boorish, unjustified scatter and stream of abuse. And when this story became public, every effort was made to whitewash the presumptuous "reformer" and save his reputation.
I have no doubt that Serdyukov and his patrons behind the Kremlin wall have sufficient administrative resources to force any of the participants in this story to subscribe to any of its scenarios and even take all the blame on themselves. The ethics of a civil servant leaves them no other options.
I have no doubt that the PR campaign against the Union of Paratroopers will eventually lead to the gradual fading of the scandal and the withdrawal of Mr. Serdyukov from the fire of criticism. But all the efforts of the Kremlin and PR people are powerless to force us to respect a person who, imagining himself untouchable, violates all the norms of ethics and morality and walks up people like a ladder.
… And we will find out the truth. Perhaps not now, but soon, when the minister himself and his patrons will become the past. Truth is that poison that works even through the years …
