Some time ago we wrote about a situation that arose at a transport engineering plant in Omsk. Let me remind you that after corporatization these enterprises became part of the NPK Uralvagonzavod. It was the corporation's problems, and its own financial difficulties, that forced the plant's management to make a decision to optimize production and reduce a part of the foundry. Such a decision would lead to the reduction of most of the workers in this production.
The media, including "VO", took the side of the workers of the plant. The Workers' Association actively supported the actions of the Interregional Trade Union. Moreover, the situation at Omsktransmash has grown into a discussion about the state of the defense complex as a whole. Readers in their comments gave a huge number of examples of what is happening behind the closed gates of other defense enterprises.
As a result, the management of the plant found a way out of the deadlock. I understand what it cost the general director of Omsktransmash, Igor Lobov. But this, from my point of view, is a job well done. It is the job of the CEO. This means that the person is in his place.
There were no reductions. The workers, with the exception of those who quit without waiting for the end of the conflict, remained at the plant. Even the requirements for the recalculation of wages were met. True, for this the workers had to go to the labor inspection.
The fact is that additional payments for foundry workers at Omsktransmash were included in the salary. As a result, the workers stopped seeing how much bonuses were accrued at the end of the month. The Labor Inspectorate decided to cancel such an accrual and imposed a fine on the JSC.
However, it turned out that with the appearance of a separate line of additional payments, the premiums decreased by the results of the quarter and year. Simply because they were charged as a percentage of the salary. In short, the MPRA activists turned out to be not very well prepared economically. And the decision dictated "on emotions" played against the workers.
"The workers simply did not foresee that as a result of the exclusion of harmfulness from their salary, their income would decrease," Kirill Sergeev, an MPRA activist, commented on this story. This is how it happens.
But the management of the plant is obliged to foresee everything. And he foresees. Moreover, it seems to me that the history of the conflict taught that decisions, especially cardinal ones concerning many people, must be made after a thorough discussion with people. Then there will be no such conflicts. Then there will be no need for high officials to interfere to help.
"We are always ready to discuss rational proposals that will make the work of our enterprise better, and the working conditions of employees more comfortable," said Igor Lobov, the general director of Omsktransmash. a huge enterprise based on the whims of a group of people who can't decide what they want. " This was reported by the news agency "Novy Omsk".
In general, we can say that the situation at the enterprise has been resolved. And the interaction of the administration with the trade union has now acquired a completely working, non-conflict character.
And now for the good. Already in mid-December, Omsktransmash fulfilled the state defense order! Completed 100%. The last batch of modernized T-72s was sent to the units and subdivisions of the RF Armed Forces. Those machines that returned to service after modernization bear little resemblance to those that arrived at the enterprise.
The tactical and technical characteristics of tanks have been significantly improved. The vehicles received a new power unit, an improved gun, a new gunner's multi-channel sight, and improved protection. I think it makes no sense to list everything. However, I will mention one feature of Omsk tanks. The tank has become much safer! A reactive armor system was built in, protection against weapons of mass destruction. And the PKUZ-1A instrument complex, a high-speed fire-fighting equipment system, makes the tank almost invulnerable.
In addition, the plant fulfilled all its obligations to maintain the samples of armored vehicles in service with the army.
And work in other areas is in full swing. We have just finished testing the PTS-4 serial amphibious transporter. We finished successfully. The plant lives!
The work of the factory workers was rated at the highest level this year. Awards shone on the chests of three representatives of the plant. The medal "For Labor Valor" was awarded to designer Valery Voloshin, head of the department of special electrical equipment systems. Sergei Chukhin, head of the electrical equipment department, was awarded the medal "For Strengthening the Combat Commonwealth". The Mikhail Kalashnikov medal was awarded to Anatoly Permyakov, deputy head of the assembly shop.
When the year ends with good news, it's easy at heart. I understand that next year will again bring problems, conflicts, defeats … But it will also bring victories, unexpected decisions, new friends. And our defense industry complex, no matter how hard it may be for him today, tomorrow will straighten his shoulders completely. Fulfilling plans will become the norm, not a cause of joy.
I believe in it.
