Anonim

As it became known from a TASS message dated June 27, 2019, a landmark event took place at the Fifth International Military-Technical Forum "Army 2019". 46 contracts were signed with 27 enterprises of the military-industrial complex for the supply of military equipment for the armed forces. The exact amount was not disclosed, but it is clarified that we are talking about more than a trillion rubles. We know something about some contracts, nothing at all about others, and in general, I must say that even drawing up a complete list of these 46 contracts is still a task. And yet, something "leaked" to open sources

The pilots have a holiday

Finally, a contract has been signed for the supply of 76 Su-57s to the troops.

Image

Yes, the number is small, yes, the contract will be extended until 2028, but the very fact of its signing suggests that the PAK FA still took place, and Russian military pilots will still receive the long-awaited 5th generation multifunctional fighters. Unfortunately, it is not known from what year the Su-57 will begin to enter the troops, but now, at least, we know for sure that they will go there.

The helicopter pilots also did not go to waste - according to the just signed contract with the Russian Helicopters holding, they will be supplied with 98 Mi-28NM attack helicopters.

Image
Image

It seems to be not so many, but this will almost double their number in the troops. I must say that the Mi-28NM is a new modification, before that the Mi-28N was supplied, and, according to the general director of the holding A. Boginsky, the Mi-28NM took into account the shortcomings of the previous model and the wishes of the pilots. A second control set is installed in the front cockpit of the new helicopter, the cockpit has been modernized to become more ergonomic. The commander and pilot-operator will now receive information about the environment and the operation of all systems of the vehicle to a greater extent and in a more accessible form. The Mi-28NM received a new sighting, flight and navigation system. Two helicopters of the pilot batch have already been transferred to the troops, thus, their total number will be 100 units. The first 6 machines under the new contract will be delivered to the customer already in 2020.

But not by planes and helicopters as a single one … As the bmpd blog reports, at the forum a contract was also signed with the State Machine-Building Design Bureau Pennant named after I. I. »Medium-range R-77 RVV-AE.

That we have such a rocket was known for a long time, and in Syria, planes with it were "spotted", but creating a rocket is only half the battle, and it is important to saturate the troops with it. So far, as far as the author knows, missiles of this type have been delivered to the Aerospace Forces in very limited quantities, and what is the use of even the most remarkable rocket if it is not there? Well, here's another contract (alas, the author does not know how many missiles will be supplied under this contract): let's hope that in the foreseeable future the R-77 will be as massive in our VKS as the R-27 became in due time and how in the US Air Force - AMRAAM.

The rockets have a holiday

Little is known about the contracts in terms of air defense systems concluded at Army-2019. The Avangard Moscow Machine-Building Plant will supply the aircraft with 48N6P-01 anti-aircraft missiles, but, alas, there are no parts.

By itself, this SAM is designed for the S-300PM1 / 2 air defense system and is a 48N6E2, but on a new element base. The 48N6E2 itself was capable of hitting aerodynamic targets at a distance of up to 200 km and an altitude of 27 km, and ballistic targets up to 40 km in range and up to 25 km in height. The maximum speed of the targets hit is 2, 8 km / s. Warhead weight - 180 kg.

Image
Image

As for the 48N6P-01, its range of destruction of aerodynamic targets was increased to 250 km, and, probably, other characteristics could also be somewhat improved. Can 48N6P-01 be used by the S-400 air defense system? As far as the author knows, the modification of this missile defense system for this complex is 48N6E3, but is it so important, if not even? After all, the armed forces of the Russian Federation have a large number of S-300PM1 air defense systems, to the level of which all earlier S-300 and C-300PM2 air defense systems were "pulled up" by 2014, why refuse to equip them with modern missiles?

And also a contract was signed for Donald Trump's favorite missile, who is ready to go to any madness for her, including breaking the INF Treaty.

Image
Image

Of course, we are talking about the 9M728 cruise missiles for the Iskander-M complex, which, according to the Americans, violated this treaty. Ours denied and presented evidence to the contrary: be that as it may, the INF Treaty is clearly going into the twilight of history and orders to live for a long time, so these cruise missiles, conventional or not, will definitely not interfere with us. The author's personal opinion, which he does not impose on anyone - structurally 9M728 has a flight range much more than the declared 500 km, but it was specially limited so as not to violate the agreement. Now we can, without creating a new project, make cruise missiles of increased range, and perhaps, accordingly, modernize the existing missiles.

The landowners have a holiday

It also became known that JSC "Scientific and Production Corporation" Uralvagonzavod "signed three government contracts. The first of them concerns the delivery of 120-mm portable mortars to the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik".

Image
Image

Here, in fact, there is nothing to discuss. As Comrade Napoleon said: "Cannons kill people," and mortar, as you know, is an extremely harmful type of artillery.

The second contract is much more mysterious, since it is a long-term document for the creation of ground-based robotic systems, and here you can already understand what you want. Well, the third contract provides for the modernization of the T-90A available in the army to the level of the T-90M.

Image
Image

According to some, alas, unconfirmed reports, 100 vehicles are subject to modernization, but this is not about the T-90A, produced from 2004 to 2011, but about the very first model, that is, the T-90. Alas, the sources who wished to remain anonymous did not say anything about the timing of this contract.

Nevertheless, the news is definitely great. The fact is that during the GPV 2011-2020, in a somewhat massive order, only T-72B3s entered the troops, which, of course, are noticeably better than the T-72 of previous modifications, but still, for a long time, they are no longer the spearhead of military-technical progress. and against modern modifications of "Leopards" and "Abrams", in all honesty, they do not look very much. Although, I must say that the T-72B3 are also different and depend on the year of production - the first tanks of this modification became an extremely budgetary version of the modernization of the T-72B, much inferior to Western technology in electronics and carrying the old Kontakt-5 dynamic protection, but in Later (T-72B3 model 2014 and 2016) the situation improved somewhat - new engines appeared, modern dynamic protection "Relikt", etc.

Nevertheless, and without a doubt, the T-90M is much better and much more consistent with the concept of a "modern battle tank" than even the most advanced T-72B3. Here is the improved V-92S2F engine with a capacity of 1,130 hp. instead of B-92S2 with 1,000 hp. on the T-90A, and the newest 125-mm cannon 2A82-1M, mounted on the Armata tank, and a new tower module with multilayer armor. The T-90M received a modern Kalina fire control system. Unfortunately, the author does not have the opportunity to compare its performance characteristics with similar foreign products, but I would like to draw special attention to one aspect of Kalina. The fact is that Kalina provides the T-90M with network centricity, since its capabilities include the integration of the tank on which it is installed into the automated control system of a tank battalion. Including the combination of information about the current state of the observation sector with an electronic map of the area, operational recognition and identification of targets, capture and transmission of information about the target in the gunner's field of view … So it is quite possible that the joke: "If I knew how to cook - would get married" will stick to Kalina tightly.

The creators of the T-90M modification also envisaged equipping the tank with the "Arena" active protection system, and if our own Ministry of Defense does not skimp on it, it will be just wonderful. It is no less remarkable that the designers paid a lot of attention to improving ergonomics - the crew will receive much more comfortable seats than they were before, the tank, of course, will be equipped with air conditioning and heating, and even the gearbox was made automatic, albeit with the ability to switch to manual control.

The sailors have a holiday

And now, finally, "the cherry on the cake." The author of this article has more than once described the extremely difficult situation that has developed in the domestic submarine. In short, things were like this: in terms of replacing the materiel leaving for well-deserved retirement with new ships, things were more or less good only with SSBNs. The Bulava still flew, and the pace of construction of the Boreyev and Boreyev-A allows them to timely replace the Project 667BDRM Dolphin SSBNs, for which, by the way, while they are still in service, an improved ballistic missile was also created.

But in terms of multipurpose nuclear and diesel submarines, we found ourselves in an extremely difficult situation - with a landslide reduction in the payroll, the programs of deep modernization of the existing submarines of the Shchuka-B and Antey types were ugly delayed, so that even those few nuclear submarines and diesel-electric submarines, which all still remained in the ranks, became obsolete not only technically, but also morally. They were to be replaced by new 4th generation submarines: MAPLs of project 885 and 885M ("Ash" and "Yasen-M").

Image
Image

And also diesel-electric submarines of project 677 "Lada".

Image
Image

But the first ones turned out to be too expensive, which is why their total number according to GPV 2011-2020 gradually decreased from 10 to 7 units. To what extent the Yasen-M corresponds to the American Virginia in its capabilities is a debatable question, but this is our most modern multipurpose submarine ship, and only 7 units, including the “intermediate” Severodvinsk, of course, look like an evil mockery of the actual needs of the fleet. … With the project 677 "Lada", too, everything went awry, because the lead boat of the series categorically refused to demonstrate at sea the performance characteristics laid down by the project. As a result, it came to the point of not being completely without submarines; it was necessary for the Black and Pacific fleets to lay down boats according to the modernized, of course, but still obsolete project 636.3.

And if there was still some hope about the Lad, because recently positive news began to appear that the project was nevertheless managed to be brought to mind, then about nuclear multipurpose nuclear submarines, everyone who was not indifferent to the state of the Russian Navy was tormented by black doubts … Instead of "Yasenei-M" we were promised ships of a new type, the development of which was carried out under the code "Husky", but everyone who is at least a little familiar with the current state of affairs understood that we are still very far from the new boats, and it is doubtful that in the near future at least the head "husky" will be laid for a decade.

Image
Image

It would seem that nothing foreshadowed … and suddenly, just like in a fairy tale (which is surprising - with a good ending!), The bmpd blog reports: during the Army 2019, contracts were signed for the construction of four submarines, including two Yasenei-M "And two" Lad "!

Firstly, it is excellent that the leadership realized the deliberately insufficient rate of rearmament of our nuclear multipurpose submarine forces and increased the series of ships of Project 885M. Secondly, the order for two additional diesel-electric submarines of Project 677 is irrefutable evidence that the problems discovered during their operation have nevertheless been resolved. And even if these boats do not receive the long-awaited VNEU (although - who knows, perhaps lithium-ion batteries will be installed on them), their combat capabilities, at least for the destruction of enemy submarines in the seas washing our shores, will be very great.

Well, think about it?

Of course, someone can say: “Well, just think, 76 fighters, a hundred helicopters and tanks and four submarines! What is this in terms of the real needs of the troops? Little things, and nothing more!”- and he will be right. But you should pay attention to the following.

According to TASS, the sum of all 46 contracts is “over 1 trillion. rub. . But the planned costs for the rearmament of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the period from 2018 to 2027 are a little like this, about seventeen times, more than the indicated amount. So we are waiting for information about new contracts for the supply of military equipment to the Strategic Missile Forces, Aerospace Forces, the army and the navy!
