The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation timely and fully finances the work on the creation of a promising aviation complex of front-line aviation (fifth generation fighter), Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Vyacheslav Shport said on Friday at a press conference in the central office of Interfax.
"I can say kind words to the Ministry of Defense. We have never had such a situation where funding has started from the beginning of the year. Usually in July-August. And the plant always had problems how to work (without money - IF-AVN") ", - said V. Shport, answering the question of how the work on the construction of fifth generation fighters at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association is proceeding.
According to V. Shport, the Defense Ministry fully fulfills its obligations. “Therefore, it’s only a matter of organization. The plant is ready, forces, means, equipment, technologies are available, and the plane will enter service with the Air Force on time,” V. Shport said.
He noted that at the stage of assembling the prototypes, the aircraft builders entered the work schedule exactly and did not allow delays. “The aircraft began to assemble very well. It turned out to be very technological,” V. Shport said.
He noted that the next prototypes of the aircraft will be ready for flight tests in the near future.
