Iran solemnly launched the first bomber developed in the country - Messenger of Death.

During the presentation, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a speech and named the new apparatus the Messenger of Death. The head of state said that specialists will intensively develop the military industry until the enemies of humanity stop thinking about an attack on Iran.

According to Iranian media, the Karar (Attacker) drone is designed to engage targets at long distances. It sees and attacks an object up to 1,000 kilometers, has powerful turbojet engines, can accelerate to 900 km per hour and is capable of carrying various types of ammunition - four air-to-surface missiles or two bombs weighing 100 kg each.

"The plane will become a messenger of death for the enemies of humanity, but like any ambassador, its main goal is a message of peace and friendship," the Iranian president said.

"We will improve our defense capability by all available methods until the enemies of humanity finally lose hope of a military invasion of our country," Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said.

It is worth noting that Iran has independently been engaged in the development and production of an unmanned aircraft since the late 1980s.

As previously reported, Iran successfully tested a new surface-to-surface missile on August 20. And the very next day, the start of the Bushehr nuclear power plant began.
