In September last year, when such a concept as the Ilovaisk cauldron was already becoming a household name, and the cauldron with the Ukrainian military ceased to exist due to the fact that it was defeated by the militia of Novorossiya, the well-known Mr. Semenchenko expressed a very accurate description of what was happening near Ilovaisk. Semenchenko then said literally the following: "We have a complete mess here, and in the mess it is difficult to quickly restore the picture of what is happening." It turned out that it was difficult for the Ukrainian side to restore the picture of what was happening, not only immediately after the Ilovaisk defeat, but during the whole year that followed. For the mess has not disappeared anywhere …
These days, it will be exactly one year since the moment when the Ilovaisk nightmare began for the "irresistible Ukrainian democracies" who call themselves the Ukrainian army, national guard and volunteer battalions. And for more than 10 months, the special commission, created under Mr. Geleta, cannot gather its thoughts and strength and announce a list of the real reasons for the defeat of the ukrosbrod near Ilovaisk, just as it cannot name the main culprits that this ukrosbrod was in the boiler, in as a result, defeated by the LDNR militia.
And now, a year later, it happened … The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gathered, you know, all his will (?) Into a fist and said that he, in principle, knew everything about the causes of the Ilovaisk tragedy (a tragedy for Kiev, of course). Ukraine, but that there is Ukraine, literally the entire interested world, held their breath and decided - well, here it is - it happened - now names will fall, heads will fly, the dock will be worn out from the uniform trousers of the generals, who allowed large-scale boiling. But the interested world was holding its breath in vain, because the General Staff of the Armed Forces did not break through … Instead of the expected information flow with names, "passwords", "appearances", the official representative of the Ukrogenshtab, who is also a representative of the Central Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Shidlyukh presented a report in which in the five hundredth since the main culprit of the Ukrainian defeat was, of course, the Russian army. Yes, yes, the Russian troops, according to Shidlyukh, invaded the borders of the independent, united and invincible Ukrainian state, and therefore the cauldron lid was not only finally slammed, but in general the entire Ilovaisk "bridgehead" of the Ukrainian troops turned into a bloody mess.
In the eyes of the journalists who were present during the announcement of the report, and the servicemen who survived near Ilovaisk, the question must have been read: what kind of jester, excuse me, in this case, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hesitated for a whole year in submitting a report on the events of August-September 2014 in the Donetsk region ? After all, Ukrainian generals, covering up their incompetence, gained in saunas and wine-glasses, almost immediately after the denouement near Ilovaisk began to hang all the dogs on the allegedly invaded Donbass Russian servicemen, whose "invasion" "along with heavy equipment" was not recorded by any Western intelligence services that flooded by that time, the east of Ukraine, nor the all-seeing American spy satellites …
Naturally, the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Shidlyukh, expected the question of what kind of gag the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made in this case, if “Russian servicemen” walked around Donbass as at home … and follows from Shidlyukhov's report. In connection with the obvious presence of such a question among the “masses”, Shidlyukh began to “analyze” why the “Russian army” ended up in Ukraine.
True, it should be noted that the analytics did not become extensive in this case either. Shidlyukh, plunging Ukraine into shock, said:
The ATO forces did not prepare in advance to repel the attack, since the headquarters received information about the enemy's offensive only on August 25, and the invasion took place on the night of the 24th to the 25th.
It's just wonderful, isn't it … The "most vigilant" and "most professional" Ukrainian General Staff received information about the offensive after this offensive had begun. It turns out that either they sat too long in the wine-glass room, or the charm of the Kiev saunas did not allow to raise the mortal carcasses of the generals from their "loaded" places.
However, the above words of Shidlyukh were not at all the only ones that, apparently, sent the Ukrainian public, interested in the course of the investigation, to a serious knockdown. Shidlyukh, trying to justify the fact that intelligence "came" after the onset of the militia troops ("the Russian army" - in the terminology of the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), suddenly said that the general staff should understand, since information about the invasion of Russian troops was usually no more than fake.
"Ukrainian Truth" quotes Shidlyukhov's quote:
Information about the intrusion comes in constantly, but mostly it is fake. The fact that the Russian Federation would resort to a full-scale invasion without a declaration of war was not expected.
That is, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all those around him need to "understand and forgive", because he constantly received fake news about the invasion of professional Russian servicemen. And in this case, given that the Ukrainian units were defeated by the militia of the people's republics, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has to declare that another fake about the invasion of Russian troops is already, you know, not a fake … To openly admit that, sorry, Ukrainian troops kicked the asses of the detachments of Givi and Motorola with the support of other military formations of the LPNR. By definition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot recognize such a thing, and therefore the fairy tale about the white bull ("the invasion of Russian troops") is recognized not only as an official version, but also as a whole justification for the inaction of the generals - they say, well, we did not expect, we got used to fakes …
And then Colonel Shidlyukh began to "concretize", presenting "intelligence" about the invasion of the "troops of the Russian Federation".
Shidlyuh:
The invasion of 4 thousand Russian servicemen has been documented, but the exact figure can be found at the General Staff of the Russian Federation, he was planning this operation.
That is, Shidlyukh also invites everyone to ask the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces how many “invaded Russian military” were … Moreover, the phrase “documented”, as it turned out, was not confirmed by any documents, except for strange cards with hand signatures.
That's five points, Colonel!..
The real colonel continued the "report":
In the Luhansk direction, four battalion-tactical groups entered (from the 104th airborne assault regiment of the 76th airborne assault division, the 19th separate motorized rifle brigade, the 64th marine regiment of the Northern Fleet of the 98th airborne division and 247 the 7th airborne assault regiment, and four in Donetsk (from the 331st airborne regiment of the 98th airborne division, the 19th separate motorized rifle brigade, the 8th separate motorized rifle brigade, 31st and 56th separate airborne assault brigades).
And, as usual in modern Ukraine, you see, no one could in any way record the "invasions". Cameras and video cameras "ran out of film", American satellites en masse "went into the dead zone", Western intelligence services "fell asleep together" exactly at the "moment of invasion" …
After Shidlyukh once again laid the blame for the Ilovaisk events on Russia, and another representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mr. announced that a "final version of the report" would be released at the end of August. Apparently, it will be the same, but with personal edits of the Supreme Commander, reducing the Ilovaisk defeat to a "tactical overthrow of the Ukrainian army" and to the need to celebrate this day as a state holiday along with the "revolution of dignity."
