The exhibition "Interpolitex-2014" was held in Moscow last week. From 21 to 24 October, the 75th pavilion of VDNKh hosted specialists and guests wishing to get acquainted with new developments in the field of security. According to official data, 473 organizations from Russia and 19 foreign countries took part in the exhibition. The exhibition program included several conferences, round tables, seminars and presentations. In addition, the specialists heard about 70 reports on various topics related to various aspects of safety.

The opening ceremony was attended by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted in his speech that over the past time the Interpolitex exhibition has not lost its relevance, interest in it is growing from year to year. The world is not becoming safer, and crime is assimilating new technological advances. Therefore, according to the Minister of Internal Affairs, law enforcement agencies should be one step ahead in the development of new products, as well as anticipate the challenges of the future.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations V. Puchkov noted in his speech that in connection with the dynamic development of the economy, new approaches are required to ensure industrial safety. The minister recalled that the Russian president had approved a re-equipment program for the Emergencies Ministry, during which the units will receive new equipment and equipment. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are implementing several joint projects designed to improve the comprehensive security of the population.

On the first day of the exhibition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Rosoboronexport signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Deputy Interior Minister Sergei Gerasimov and First Deputy Head of Rosoboronexport Ivan Goncharenko. The agreement provides for cooperation between the two departments in the military-technical sphere. The document came into force at the time of its signing and will be valid for one year. If none of the parties wishes to terminate it, the agreement will be automatically renewed.

The organizations that took part in the Interpolitex-2014 exhibition demonstrated both existing and new developments. Russian and foreign companies presented equipment, various special equipment, equipment, weapons, etc.

Tula Instrument Design Bureau named after Academician Shipunova again showed her small-sized grenade launcher "Bur". It is reported that the Tula gunsmiths have started the serial production of this weapon, which was recently adopted by the Russian army. The "Bur" grenade launcher was first shown last year and by now has passed the entire cycle of necessary tests, after which it was put into service.

Now the Instrument Design Bureau is preparing for the start of serial production of the ADS two-medium automatic rifle. This weapon is capable of firing both in the air and in the water without any special preparations. Simultaneously with the preparation for the start of production, tests and fine-tuning of the machine are being completed. It is planned to complete all such work by next year, after which the machine will go into production. Some foreign customers show some interest in the ADS assault rifle, however, the development of a modification for foreign cartridges is not planned.

In the light of recent events, the topic of foreign sanctions and their impact on the Russian defense industry is relevant. The head of the KBP delegation, Yuri Amelin, told reporters of the TASS news agency that the sanctions had no effect on the work of the Tula gunsmiths. The KBP orders some parts from related enterprises, but 90% of the components in the rifle-grenade launcher segment are manufactured in Tula.

The leaders of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (UIC) spoke about the latest successes and plans for the near future. The contract continues to be fulfilled, according to which the armed forces are to receive more than 1, 2 thousand Lesochek electronic warfare systems. The deliveries of these systems have been going on since last year, when 400 complexes were manufactured and handed over to the customer. This year it is planned to transfer 300 units to the military, and next year - the remaining 450. The Lesochek system is designed to protect troops from the detonation of enemy radio-controlled ammunition.

The defense industry complex is engaged in the development of equipment not only for the armed forces, but also for other structures. At the Interpolitex-2014 exhibition, the Indigo security complex was shown, intended for organizations monitoring various objects. The equipment of the complex is deployed within a few minutes at a guarded object and allows you to monitor any object with minimal human involvement. When using a battery, the complex can work up to 48 hours. If necessary, solar panels can be used to power the systems. The "Indigo" complex is designed to organize the protection of mobile objects in an unprepared area.

Another interesting development presented by the defense industry complex is the Forpost territory control radar. This radar allows you to monitor the environment within a radius of 20 kilometers. Automation of the Forpost system is capable of detecting and tracking up to 50 targets simultaneously. Radar "Forpost" has passed all the tests and is ready for adoption.

Representatives of the Research Institute "Vega" (Voronezh) spoke about the ongoing testing of a promising communications complex with high noise immunity. The communications system is reported to be equipped with multi-beam active phased array antennas that provide high quality communications over a wide frequency range. It is practically impossible to jam the communication channels of such a complex. If the customer, represented by the Ministry of Defense, shows interest in the new development, then next year its state tests will begin.

The new modification of the Typhoon can be used as a platform for the installation of various special equipment designed to perform certain tasks.

Domestic defense enterprises create not only new technology and equipment, but also new materials. So, the Research Institute of Steel presented a new alloy proposed for use as the basis for the protection of armored vehicles. Armored steel 44S-sv-Sh is intended for the manufacture of casings and other elements of protection for various equipment of armored vehicles located outside of its hull. The new steel is able to protect equipment from small arms bullets and small-caliber automatic cannon shells. Steel 44S-sv-Sh received the approval of the developers of the promising Armata tank and was accepted for trial operation.

On October 22, a demonstration program was held at the FKP "Research Institute of Geodesy" training ground (Krasnoarmeysk). For several hours, visitors to the event could study equipment in a static parking lot, as well as watch its demonstration during demonstration performances with the participation of employees of various security agencies.
