The Ukrainian leadership now really needs any kind of success, and fake ones are also perfect - elections are not far off. And Pan Petro Poroshenko understands perfectly well that the first thing that anyone who won the election (if it is not himself) will do is hang the head of an important trophy in the trophy room, the well-fed pig "Petro Pig", that is, himself. Because all the troubles of the beginning of his (or her) reign will be attributed to the predecessor. And the rating of the chocolate master is such that even Boris Nikolayevich, "working with documents with a firm handshake," would look at him with contempt. This means that we must somehow win the elections in spite of everything. The rest of the junta understands this, and all these crowds of sycophants, like Biryukov, and larger figures, like Avakov or Groisman. And in terms of promoting fake successes, the military theme is very suitable.
At the front, the junta warfare has not and cannot be - local attempts to improve the situation will not yield anything, while large ones will lead to "tragic consequences for Ukrainian statehood," as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the RF Armed Forces said. How these consequences will come - and so it is clear, but this is not the topic of this article. But the military parade on the Day of Independence, as a demonstration of the junta's fake peremogs, will do just right. Pan Poroshenko was so carried away by this parade that even at the rehearsal of the parade he pushed a speech - the same empty and not related to the realities of our world, like the rest of his speeches. After all, propaganda now molds from an eternally drunk diabetic (with diabetes it is generally impossible to drink, but, apparently, without alcohol, Pyotr Alekseich is simply scared to come to Bankovaya) the image of "who saved and revived the army." Well, as a proof of the "revival" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a technique, everything that could somehow be passed off as this remog was pushed to this "parade of peremogs". But, as usual, peremoga quickly gave way to horror …
Let's start with the main striking force of the Ground Forces - with tanks. For some reason, not a single BM "Oplot" was exhibited at the parade. Obviously, the fact is that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not see these tanks for a long time (and will not lose anything, by the way), the plant probably did not have any workers and free samples, or did not give it away, and all the Oplot-T tanks are for Thailand, with a delay of only 4 years, went to the customer. New contracts for "Oplot" are not yet expected, the Thais, despite the writings of some local blogger, are unlikely to have gone so far as to conclude a new contract with Ukraine, and the Pakistanis were unhappy with "Oplot", in particular, demanding to replace the panoramic sight PNK-6. Which is called "bucket" by everyone, of course, out of envy of the design genius of the Ukrainians, and not because of its shape, nightmarish size and obsolescence. By the way, with the same "bucket", moreover, painted in the colors of Thai "Oplots", the vehicle of the mobile command and observation post of artillery based on MTLBU was also presented at the parade. Rather, it most likely was the "bucket" from "Oplot", more precisely, the casing from it, that is, the layout. Possibly set just for the parade. Of course, if there are no specialized devices for such a machine, then a tank commander's panorama will do, even this one, but at least for a parade, their props would be painted the same color.
There was an idea, they say, to organize a very steep change and push the tank ob. 477A1 "Nota" to the parade - albeit not completely complete and unfinished, like its ancestors, ob. 477A "Hammer", but it would only have to drive along Khreshchatyk, threateningly responding with their appearance to the Russian "Armata". But, for some reason, still relatively recently, before the "hydrological revolution", it was not possible to reactivate and revive a tank capable of moving, especially since this requires money, and their junta leaders prefer to take them, rather than give them to the plant. So neither Hammers nor Nota were revived. But they remembered the T-84-120 Yatagan, created for a Turkish tank tender (successfully lost) a long time ago, and has been in storage ever since. Since the 120-mm smoothbore cannon, that is, the NATO caliber, means that the tank will symbolize "NATO standards", which is very much needed by the first self-proclaimed member of the alliance! He headed a box of ordinary T-84s. Those who disgraced themselves at the tank competitions Strong Europe Tank Challenge 2018, both through the fault of the crews and the fault of the plant, which did not normally prepare the vehicles. More precisely, the plant is not entirely to blame here - it was simply not paid for anything, neither modernization, nor a normal overhaul, the cars that were rotting on the site were simply restored by cannibalizing the rest and the repair formula "blew - spit - touch up - it will do."
Here it is, the stalled "Scimitar"
Only now the only existing "Yatagan" managed to break down during the rehearsal of the parade and was evacuated from there. Here are just the joyful cries of those same ukropatriots who rejoiced at the alleged "broken" at the dress rehearsal of the 2015 Victory Parade. T-14, inaudible. Which did not break down, instead the brain of a young driver-mechanic who drowned out the car out of stupidity and accidentally put it on the mountain brake - the story has long been known and illuminated, but still both wide ukry and domestic mourners remember it. It is strange that the TBMP T-15, which actually broke down then with a jammed automatic gearshift, is not remembered. However, early cars made using a workaround technology may well break down, there is nothing unusual here.
Following the T-84, and it is not clear why the Yatagan, which was pushed to the parade (which no one will produce anyway), drove perhaps the only sensible new items - the T-64BV with the gunner's thermal imaging sights. The T-64BV tank itself is frankly worse than the rest of the tanks of the "big Soviet three" three-seater vehicles of the 2nd generation, which it proved in the battles in the Donbass. But an undoubtedly sensible solution is to replace the old sight with, albeit equipped with a thermal imaging camera with a very weak uncooled matrix (of course, imported, "Ukraine is not Russia" and does not produce such things itself, and produces few of them at all). With them, "dill" also tried to perform at SETC, but also failed. But at the front, these tanks can gain some advantage over the T-72B / B1 and T-64BV of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps. However, this is a solvable problem - and the tanks themselves are now little used in positional battles, and artillery is quite capable of solving the problem of combating accumulations of armored vehicles. And in the event of a serious escalation, other tanks may accidentally be found there, of course, with normal sights, shells and protection. In any case, this is one of the few new products that actually arrive in some amount in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
But to be honest, some hidden separatists and Putin's agents were obviously picking up the front column of equipment - wherever you look, Soviet equipment was traveling everywhere, and in no way modernized. Or modernized so that it would be better not to call it modernization. BMP-2, ACS Akatsiya 2S3, Gvozdika 2S1, 2S7 Pion, towed howitzers and MT-12 Rapira cannons, 2A36 Hyacinth-B, SAM and Tor-M air defense missile systems (which were restored from ruins, they were also written off, obviously for the parade), "Tunguska" (which actively disappeared from the front, apparently, the resource is running out), launchers of the S-300V and S-300PT1 air defense systems and so on, so on - all this was done by the same "Soviet Empire ", with which constantly, as with Russia (where units are produced for them and stocks of spare parts are located)," Pan Poroshenko finally says goodbye. Drunk people have such a habit of saying goodbye and not leaving. There were also some Soviet aircraft in the air, with the same pseudo-modernization as everything else, which usually consisted of installing new equipment for recording flight parameters, state recognition equipment and similar "large-scale" changes.
In general, this should be punished. At the parade of "the strongest army in the Local Group of Galaxies" there should be only national production and development equipment, and nothing else. Even if they are tanks made of straw - but their own, you will not have to blush. As for the Buk-M1 that flew into the shopping center - it would have been a Ukrainian air defense system, this would not have happened. By the way, it is interesting that at the parade there was not a single 2S5 "Hyacinth-S" ACS and not a single 2S19 "Msta-S" - obviously, their resource was finally "killed" on the fronts of confrontation of "hybrid aggression", both chassis, so I had to say goodbye to them. Although, maybe, they will restore a certain amount, but the trend of mass replacement of 2С19 with towed counterparts is obvious. True, in counter-battery combat, first of all, self-propelled guns are needed, but what can you do. But the American radar stations did not forget to roll out the positions of shooting mortars and artillery on the parade, as did a bunch of used Humvees in different equipment. Someone needs to symbolize "NATO standards".
This is a wonderful product, in all its glory. 2S22 "Bogdan", more precisely, the layout, which should represent the self-propelled guns
But there were, there were real ukronovinki, not to take away. The sensational 155-mm wheeled self-propelled gun with some very European-integrated transvestite name "Bogdana", for example. Well, it's true that it turned out not to be an ACS, but a non-firing mock-up, sawn from the barrel of a 2A65 "Msta-B", with a muzzle brake, for some reason, from the D-20, it seems, without normal recoil devices, whose absence was covered with a casing. And without the normal, durable amice on the chassis, which is mandatory for wheeled self-propelled guns of such calibers, and without the normal four-sided supports. There is no promised automatic loader for 6 shots, instead of it some kind of rammer, made with a live thread, which is not enough for a few shots - will fall apart. If the loaders do not fall apart earlier, they will have to throw ammunition at such a height. But the chassis itself can fall apart even earlier - given the height of the attachment of the gun trunnions, the structure of the frame itself, the absence of normal supports and an amice, this product will chatter mercilessly after the shot. In general, no one calculated it normally, or did the engineers there degrade so much that they generated something like that as a result of calculations?
But most likely, no one is going to shoot this craft, and it will simply be quietly forgotten, fulfilling its role as a "front door". Although, of course, the fact is ridiculous that in war-torn Syria they were able to create and put on stream a wheeled 130mm self-propelled gun, made much more thoughtfully than the product of the once second industrial republic of the USSR. In general, the savages could not understand the artifacts of a highly developed people, and they blinded an analogue out of straw.
But the fate of the Grom-2 launcher model is different - after all, the Saudis pay for this props, also cobbled together on a living thread. And how Ukrainian developers are going to report to the customer is a question. Because at this stage there is neither a launcher nor a rocket. There were two fire tests of the engine, one ended in an explosion - which in itself is a shame for rocket scientists in the second decade of the 21st century. It was possible to somehow calculate the parameters. But then you can promote "Thunder-2", telling what performance characteristics it will have on paper, how it will threaten Moscow, and so on. Enough before the elections. As with another recent "peremogy" - ASM "Neptune". Which is being developed on the basis of the existing documentation for the Kh-35 "Uran" anti-ship missile (the old version, not the "Urana-U" with increased range and improved capabilities). But the rocket comes out more dimensional even now, at the stage of throw tests. Moreover, it was different in length on two different throwing launches! Apparently, the units of Ukrainian design, like the GOS, despite the imported components, do not fit into the standard case and the dimensions are growing. But on the other hand, this did not prevent the bloody pastor Turchinov from telling how a throwable red dummy item flew 100 km and hit the target. It's good that it didn't fly to the moon.
Equally powerful was the reversal with the "own" MLRS "Alder", that is, "Smerch" with a casing put on for thermal insulation of heated launch tubes (reduces visibility for UAVs). However, no one in our country thought to fool with such a casing on the front / army level systems - such systems should be in the depths of their positions, and well covered from various threats. It's not Grad or Tornado-G. This truly Ukrainian product fires with an equally Ukrainian missile, remixed from the old versions of the Smerch missiles.
But Pyotr Alekseich "said goodbye enough" to another element of the Soviet legacy, introducing the Bandera greeting instead of it into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But, I think, and here the indecisive pastry chef stopped halfway. Since they have adopted the motto of the murderers of women and children from the UPA, who successfully fought only with the unarmed, then it would be necessary to introduce the motto of their masters. Those who were "fought with Hitler" by the "grandfathers" of the current leaders of the Maidan junta and their sympathizers. Surely, both the United States and the European Union will be glad to hear a seemingly forgotten cry and a greeting that goes back to the Roman legions long ago. You just do not stop, "dill", everything must be brought to the end. And his "war" with Russia - too. Declare war on us, finally, how long can we watch your freak circus?
But, for some reason, they do not want to. New brigades are fruitful, although the old ones are understaffed with neither equipment nor people (the shortage even at the front can exceed 50%), while simultaneously reducing the staff of the brigades so that the shortage is smaller. This clearly indicates that they are not thinking about the coming war and about calling in a reserve - there simply will not be anything to plant it on and nothing to equip, but about how much money they can use. Until it started …
