The well-known company OJSC "Tethys - Integrated Systems" for the first time demonstrated the landing system for special forces using the Futura Commando 530 boat. Vladimir Pechenevsky, who is the head of the company's commercial department, spoke about the main characteristics and features of this development at the Forum "Security Technologies" exhibition.
The new development was created jointly with the company "Zodiac" (France) and is intended to carry out the landing of special units from helicopters of the Ka-27 and Mi-8 type in order to perform tasks during both counter-terrorist and rescue operations.
As Pechenevsky emphasized, the boat has a number of features. First of all, this is its bottom (bottom), which is a structure consisting of separate aluminum modules, between which there is no rigid connection. This feature of the bottom, according to a representative of the developer company, allows the boat to be rolled up and placed along with the engine and other accessories in a special container that is dropped into the water along with the combat swimmers.
Not more than three minutes after the release, combat swimmers, using a compressed air cylinder, can bring the boat into readiness for use and complete the assigned task. The high speed and maneuverability of the boat, even at maximum speed, is ensured by a powerful compact engine weighing 98 kg and a power of 50 horsepower.
Vladimir Pechenevsky said that the boat is distinguished by high survivability, which is achieved due to 6 compartments, which are connected with high pressure hoses. According to him, another feature of the Zodiac boat is the absolute independence of its maneuverability and speed from the degree of workload.
With a maximum length of 5, 3 m and a maximum width of 2, 14 m, with a total mass of 160 kg, the maximum carrying capacity of the boat is 1710 kg (these are 12 fighters in full gear). If the system is packaged, then its dimensions do not exceed 1.7 m in length and 0.9 m in width. The landing system for special units was created by order of law enforcement agencies.
According to Vladimir Pechenevsky, this year JSC "Tethys - Complex Systems" will present to its potential buyers new products that have not been demonstrated on the Russian market before, including by competitors. Pechenevsky explained the need for their creation by the fact that the quality of foreign analogues supplied to Russia is very different from the real one, and not for the better.
Among such products V. Pechenevsky noted the “Barrier” engineering obstacle (IZP). Its main features are positive buoyancy and intended for protection in case of unauthorized penetration of small-sized floating equipment (boats, boats, jet skis) into protected objects by water. Equipping the "Barrier" with a special metal net ensures the protection of the object under water.
In addition, the "Barrier" assumes the installation of a special Israeli-made electronic cable in the form of an underwater security element, in the event of a rupture of which an alarm signal is given. Along with this, surface barriers for intruders in the form of a barbed wire fence can be installed on the Barrier's floating modules.
Pechenevsky also said that “the modules of the IZP“Barrier”are polyethylene containers filled with rigid polyurethane foam with a high density. The strength of the module is provided by a hollow steel beam that runs through it and connects the modules to each other. Thanks to polyurethane foam, high positive buoyancy of the module and corrosion protection of the steel beam are provided. With overall dimensions of 2580 x 508 x 508 mm, the weight of the "Barrier" module when immersed in water does not exceed 103 kg.
The exposition of JSC "Tethys - Integrated Systems" also demonstrated other developments of the company. Thus, the commercial director noted the automatic panoramic detection system of the "Filin" type, the stationary hydroacoustic complex of underwater protection "Nerpa-M", which has been in production for more than 6 years, and the hydroacoustic station of underwater protection "Tral-M" facilities (facilities of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, nuclear power plants) on the territory of Russia.
Vladimir Pechenevsky said that the company has been producing a mobile complex "Zashchita" for the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 4 years, which is designed to guard the parking areas of ships, "including those with nuclear power plants and radioactive waste." These complexes are a combination of several security systems based on the use of different physical principles. This ensures increased reliability of the object's protection in all environments along the entire protected perimeter, which can reach up to 1.5 km. When creating the complex, domestic components were used. This complex has no analogues in the world. The mobility of the complex makes it possible to bring it into readiness at a new location within 24 hours with a calculation of 10 people.
Tethys - Integrated Systems OJSC is a part of the TETIS Group of Companies, which includes leading Russian developers, manufacturers and suppliers of underwater, fire fighting, search and rescue equipment and equipment, life support systems for astronautics, extreme medicine, aviation, as well as coastal and surface objects from the water area.
